My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
This part is always the hardest but people want to read something about the person they are looking at. It's a bit like an interview where they say "tell me about yourself".
Anyway just the typical guy next door type who is into a lot of different activities from winter sports such as skiing to those in summer like hiking or camping.
I also like doing things around town like visiting cultural attractions, going to new coffee places (or old hang outs). I'm not huge on sporting events but go some times. Speaking of sports, I do work out though getting a great body takes work and I'm not there yet.
I'm writing a book on internet so do that a little each day subject to writer's block. In general, creativity is a good thing and I sometimes go to art openings. Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder as they say but it is usually positive. I tend to bypass negativity like news (what really is new in news anyway??). I take an eagles view of that and it tends to minimise nicely. Instead, I prefer to give head space to more positive aspects of life.
I have lived in several countries and am a geography nut of sorts. But I don't parade my knowledge about it. I am simply interested. My next trip may be to Iceland or far east Russia.Svalbard also of interest. I have little interest in countries under tribal problems though. I refer you to last part of this for the answer to those problems.

I do rate lots of people and if I rate you highly it is an invite for you to say hello. I go in phases as far as initiating contact. Sometimes I do adopt a passive approach since I want to find out about people who are motivated to contact me. If I see you have viewed me and sent no message, I will also view you but probably also will be silent. In that case you will need to send a message to get things going. Otherwise, my assumption is that you viewed my profile but have no interest. Please be local PNW ..Seattle up to Vancouver then down to pdx because of very obvious reasons.
Recently I am less active on this site ...I will just say work is a priority but also it seems to take an inordinate amount of effort to move anything here off screen. Common sense dictates what one does there. Catch phrases "what for" "what does it get you" "what difference does it make" come to mind.
Since you have bothered to read this far I will share the most valuable life approach ...and that is this: to actually die to the past every fresh moment but a moment is only in the process indivisible with perfect continence as a stream though not a facsimile or metaphor thereof but of the other.
I should add as a closing note and in consideration of people I have met recently that I seek someone who is emotionally available. Empathetic content from interpersonal encounters is very important to me . If I have nothing to go on there then there is really no reason to go further. If you have an inflated ego and like to complain it would be in your best interest if we never meet. I really don't care if you were summa cum laude at Harvard either. Seattle isn't east coast but we have the advantage. If you like it back there so much what are you doing here? I bet no one read this far unless you cheated and skipped to the end. But, alas, I am not Neitsche nor do I have scandalous gems available simply browsing my writing.
