My self-summary
I consider myself to be just the average girl next door, but that's not the feedback I get. I've been told I'm uncomplicated, drama free and not annoyingly prissy like most girls. So make of that what you will.

I like being outdoors, and I love camping. I also love dogs, but can't have one where I live. So if you have one I can play with, that's awesome. I like college football, but don't fully get everything about it and I'd like someone to explain things to me. I also like baseball, but haven't been to a game all year. :( I really, really don't like the Giants.

I'll admit right now, I like history. A whole lot, actually. I've been told it makes me a nerd, and I plan on teaching it.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to figure out who I am and what I plan to do with the next 60 or so years of my life. I'm a work in progress but I'm headed in the right direction.
I’m really good at
I'm not good at making lists, especially of things I'm good at. It's not that I can't come up with things, I'm just a little too modest to list them.

I'm good at telling you more than you ever wanted to know about the most obscure things. I should seriously be on Jeopardy.

I'm pretty funny too, if you can deal with sarcasm.

I'm also reaaally good at blushing. I'll do it over anything.
The first things people usually notice about me
It's either my blue eyes or my red hair. Usually the hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I can't help but love a few of the American classics. Of Mice and Men, Old Man and the Sea, Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. I love Stephen King, but Poe did horror so much better. I enjoyed the Daily Show book as well as Stephen Colbert's book, although not as much. Angela's Ashes is my favorite book though. So good.

As for movies, there aren't a whole lot I won't watch. I don't really like chick flicks, I'm finding out. And I'm starting to think all the good movies have been made because when you look at what studios are churning's not so good. But anyway, my desert island list is: Goodfellas, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Clue and Gone with the Wind.

I'm open to pretty much anything music wise. I like a lot of old stuff, I think 90% of today's music is garbage. Even as a kid, I would have picked the Beatles over the Backstreet Boys any day. It's not to say I don't like any current music, I'm just picky. I like the White Stripes, The Strokes... Things like that, I guess.

For tv, I love Mad Men. It's really a great show, if you haven't seen it, you're missing out. 30 Rock, How I Met Your Mother and The Office are pretty good too.

I'm not a picky eater. I like Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Mexican, Seafood. Whatever.
The six things I could never do without
Sunscreen (I'm so incredibly pale), sunglasses, music, people to talk to.. and I can't think of two more right this second.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Conan O'Brien's poofy hair. It's seriously poofy. I've seen it in person! But no, I think a lot about lots of things. Politics, for one.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't have a typical Friday night. But I'm not really into the whole club scene and tend to like dive bars when I do go out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm allergic to penicillin and stupidity.
