I am implusive, up for a laugh, and easy going.
My Self-Summary
Emmm... Im just eating your
cheese. You dont mind, do you? It doesnt
taste of ought like. It's probably gone off. Its alright, I'll just
eat it. Im like a bin... a bin for ya.
The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five
sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of
cocaine, and a whole multi colored collection of uppers, downers,
laughers, screamers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a
case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we
needed all that for the trip, but once you get into a serious drug
collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only
thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the
world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in
the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten
stuff pretty soon...
I say no to drugs, but they don't listen...
"Your brain is Irish, mine is Ukrainian! You just don't get it.....
I don't get it" - Julia
I found this the other day while I was preparing for an interview.
It makes ya think...
"At the age of seven, a young boy and his family were forced out
of their home. The boy had to work to support his family. At the
age of nine, his mother passed away. When he grew up, the young man
was keen to go to law school, but had no education.
At 22, he lost his job as a store clerk. At 23, he ran for state
legislature and lost. The same year, he went into business. It
failed, leaving him with a debt that took him 17 years to repay. At
27, he had a nervous breakdown.
Two years later, he tried for the post of speaker in his state
legislature. He lost. At 31, he was defeated in his attempt to
become an elector. By 35, he had been defeated twice while running
for Congress. Finally, he did manage to secure a brief term in
Congress, but at 39 he lost his re-election bid.
At 41, his four-year-old son died. At 42, he was rejected as a
prospective land officer. At 45, he ran for the Senate and lost.
Two years later, he lost the vice presidential nomination. At 49,
he ran for Senate and lost again.
At 51, he was elected the President of the United States of
America.
The man in question: Abraham Lincoln."
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently working in Dublin airport. So you will probably see
me floating around somewhere.
Have taken up
ultimate frisbee and I love it! And having not
have done any kind of exercise in about 3 years it can only help my
health.
(I've decided to re answer all of my questions. When I looked back
at them I realised that I gave grown a lot over the last 3 years,
and a good few of my answers are different now)
I’m really good at
being my unusual,
weird, quirky self!
The first things people usually notice about me
is my blue eyes &
red hair (typically Irish!)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
a) I'm a big reader, love to read. Although I haven't been reading
that much lately. I'm currently reading some books on body language
and how you can read someone by it
b) I'm generally not a movie person, but I wouldn't say that I'm
"anti-movies". I do watch and enjoy movies, but I'm no critic. But
i do like American History X, No Country For Old Men, Alfred
Hitchcocks "The birds", Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,
Little Miss Sunshine, High Fidelity
c) I have quite a broad taste in music. For instance I recently got
tickets for Justin for free, and have discovered that he is
actually a really good performer.
My favourite bands would have to be the Beatles and Simon &
Garfunkel. Absolutely love them! My other favourites would include
Incubus, Aerosmith, some Coldplay, Elliott Smith, Bloc Party, some
Jack Johnson, Faith No More, Foo Fighters, The Zutons, The Yeah
Yeah Yeahs, Kasabian, The Eagles, David Bowie, Bell X1, The Clash,
Counting Crows (cant think of others now, will update as
appropriate)
My favourite song would be Aerosmith "Dream On". Think that I would
like this song played at my funeral, in an acoustic version though.
Kind of depressing and morbid I know.
Also if I had to listen to just one song for the rest of my life,
it would have to be "The only living boy in New York" by Simon
& Garfunkel. Brilliant!
d) Popcorn, Italian, Chinese, and McDonalds breakfasts! So bad but
I love them!
The six things I could never do without
music
a good book
someone to talk to
nights (really miss them now I'm doing shift work, its so
rejuvenating to still be up when the sun rises... (not to mention
slightly tiring))
Jack Daniels
water
I spend a lot of time thinking about
life & why are we really here? also over analysing little
things like how words lose all meaning when you say them over &
over again, & they dont sound like the original word any
more
I like
potatoes
Why do people like Big Brother so much? It seems to be on for ages
this summer!
Why I feel like I live in work at the moment.
John Cusack! Mmmmm
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on whether I am working or not. If I'm off, I would more
than likely be hanging with my friends, having a few drinks.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
well then it wouldn't be private! ;)
You should message me if
you think that you might be the man of my dreams
