My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Midwest transplant, been in SF for over 6 years... made my way here by way of georgia and arizona, spent a few years in the military in there too.

I was a math major in college and I have tattoos to prove it. I work in the peninsula and go to work every day on one of those big white shuttles that everyone in SF seems to hate. Once I got off in the mission and had someone boo me. Anyways, i am a reluctant techie, I just kind of fell into it when I moved out here and have been doing it ever since...

For fun I enjoy music. Making it, listening to it, studying it. I also really love nature and try to get out into the wilderness as often as possible, California is kind of great for that, I still haven't seen all of it's mountains (looking at you trinity alps). Also waiting in really long lines at the DMV. Love that.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working. Trying to figure out where to go next. I really like new places and some of the best trips ive ever taken have been road trips through other countries. I'd like to do more of that, maybe even in the US. I enjoy seeing capitals but I think the best way to know a place is to experience its mundanity.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I was a cook all through college and for a bit past that. So I know my way around a kitchen pretty well. I have a knack for pulling together good meals out of disparate parts of the kitchen.

I like to backpack so I'm pretty good in the wild... Once I went out by myself and had a rattlesnake rattle at me. It was scary but I lived to tell the tale. That night a huge tree fell right into my camp. Now I always watch for dead trees.

I play my piano to the point of obsession and my neighbors haven't killed me in my sleep yet so I guess Im pretty good at that too.

Oh yeah, and the internet. I work in tech so I can get around most (non-windows based) computers pretty well, though I don't feel this is really a defining feature of my person... Sometimes I find the tech-centric nature of (my slice of) the SF social scene a bit much.
