My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
UPDATE: Wow, it's been a long time since I updated this thing. I was looking for a new job and a new home simultaneously. Preoccupied with that the me off dating for a bit. But now, I'm open to it. I'd like to meet new people, play off of them, have some fun. And by that that, I don't take that lightly. I am a loyal friend and believe in being supportive in those that I care to spend moot time with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Various creative and building projects.
Recreating my work and creative space.
Being in the moment as much as possible.
Tuning in. Tuning out.
Being inspired from unexpected places.
Coordinating art shows and social experiments.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

None of these will be in order, freeform as they come to me.:
Books- I've been into graphic novels in the past couple of years, and seem to be drawn to non-fiction, but some of my standout memorable books; Perfume, Free Play, Beneath the Underdog, and authors; Herman Hesse, Edward Abbey, Kerouac, Jim Carroll, Rumi, Anthony Bourdain, Joseph Campbell, Spalding Gray.....
Music- I'm a music fiend. I love getting turned on to new music, but I'm too much of a music snob to be led to it. It's got to catch me by surprise. Been playing guitar since 16, so Classic Rock( Led Zep, Beatles, Cream, Hendrix, ZZ Top, Van Halen). I was in a metal band twenty years ago that played mostly Iron Maiden. It was like a pickup game with friends.
I was brought up on old soul. Stevie Wonder brings me back and is my Prozac
Gladys Knight, Ray Charles, Aretha, Temps....
Just found a term for the music I've been digging lately: Post-rock i.e. Godspeed you black emperor, Mogwai, Tortoise...
"Process music"
Movies- (yes, i'll come back to this)
Food- Lovin' that this is a foodie town. Some people are digging in to explore what can be done and can have a rich experience with the right combination. I love Thai. Sushi weekly. Italian. And simple but well combined food. I also love to cook.
TV- Not into it. I don't have one. But when I catch them, I look forward to the new season of 'the walking dead', tosh.o, Robot Chicken, Travel/Food channel shows (Chopped, No Reservations)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Again, in no particular order:
tastebuds
smell
art
library
the ocean
curiosity
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How ludicrous the world is, or is it just America and it's distortions of 'culcha', or is it just humanity?
Tuning into what I want.
Recognizing the 'box' and thinking out of it by letting go of the thinking or the 'box'.
Experiential Poetry
Food
Is sex a science or an art? I think of sex plenty.
Group dynamics
Environments
New habits I want to develop and old ones I want to shed
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
There is no typical Friday.
I've given up on the expectation that a 'weekend' night used to bring. Drinks with a friend, walking around town, on a bike ride, camping, creating,...who knows...it's all possible
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm plenty candid. But I've been learning to not show all my cards right away.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 30–48
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
