I ended my senior year in college on 2011. I still need to take some finals, but I'm pretty relaxed about it. I kind of took a sabbatical from college, and focused on myself for a while. In the meantime, I chilled, went to the gym, got bored, signed out, am about to start gymnastics, I have a non-descript office job that's not too demanding or too interesting, but that may land me a trip to the Far East, I try to save money for my big European trip (coming on July 2014. Beware!)
In general, I'm taking a very relaxed attitude, and just flowing.
I'm also a good talker, by the way. I am the very model of the modern Major-General. I also am a remarkable insulter. I have that thing the British call "dry wit" and Americans call "being an ass"
I love history and architecture, an I love exploring my city, so I'm a fairly good guide. If you come to Buenos Aires, give me a message!
As for the rest, I'm relentlessly self-critical. People say I'm kind and easy-going, compassionate, passionate about my ideas, and that I really really don't know when to shut up!
I'm very politically aware, and that tends to come out on most conversations. Sometimes that's a bother, particularly in Argentina. Most people here don't take disagreement on that kind of issues very well.
George R.R. Martin's "Ice and Fire" saga. Harry Potter. Il Gatopardo, by Lampedusa. All things Tolkien. The Rebel (L'homme révolté) by Chejov. The perks of Being a Wallflower. Camus. Gaiman's The Sandman, and most of its spinoffs. A ton of comics and a shitload of webcomics. Bradbury. Asimov. Kissinger's "Diplomacy"*.
Shows: Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Boss, Adventure Time, Daria, Animaniacs (NO I AM NOT TOO OLD), many many others. I still mourn 30 Rock.
I take great pride in being able quote the first 6 seasons of the Simpsons almost verbatim.. And in the fact that I stopped watching the show 5 years ago. I'm somewhat of an orthodox, here.
My music taste is quite spasmodic: As of today, we could sum it up on David Bowie, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Yo la Tengo, Neutral Milk Hotel, Little Boots, Daft Punk (I prefer Homework than RAM), Marina and The Diamonds, Interpol, Blondie, Javiera Mena, Janis Joplin, Grace Jones, Journey, Goldfrapp, Metronomy, Róisín Murphy, Air, Handsome Boy Modelling School, classic Madonna, and others of the like. I had other tastes, quite different, on other stages..
but that was in another country;
And besides, the wench is dead.
As for food, as long as it's not too spicy, or not too sloppy, I'm in.
*(I Understand that including Kissinger may be polemic for some of my fellow Argentines. But the man can write. I could include Céline too, but I don't count it as a favorite)
Owning a horse.
Things that drag me down.
Conversations I had years ago.
