I am quirky, excitable, and stoked on life.

My Self-Summary

I really like simple things. I love to look at things and love them. I love to love things.

I love tea. I have over 40 different kinds of tea from around the world and am pretty proud of this. Also I just bought the cutest teapot from Pier 1 and we are in love.

I love animals of pretty much all varieties. I haven't eaten meat for over six years, however, I have always eaten seafood.

I would love to sit around all day reading a good book and drinking tea. "You can't get a cup of tea big enough or a book long enough to suit me" (C.S. Lewis).

I love to be artistic, however, I have no artistic ability whatsoever. When I have nothing to do I make paper cranes.

I like the environment a lot and try to find the beauty in everything.

I am always having fun and I am laughing almost all the time. I am friends with the most hilarious people and we could all make a joke out of almost anything.

I love to experience new culture and experiences different to what I am used to. I am open to any new ideas.

I really wish I could play violin. But I can't.

I also really wish I could sing in front of other people.

What I’m doing with my life

Well, my life is in the planning stages as of right now. I'm stoked to go to college, though. I'll be completing a Bachelor of Arts degree and will hopefully be a Doctor of Psychology one day.

One day.

I’m really good at

I'm really good at making hummus.
I'm good at talking and at listening.
I'm good at cooking most of the time, but get nervous cooking for other people.
I am good at asking questions.
I am good at accepting anyone.
I am good at making lists.

The first things people usually notice about me

Usually, people notice my mane of hair first. It's pretty hard not to notice. Then they'll notice that I'm laughing all the time and have a very sarcastic sense of humour.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorite books consist of anything Salinger, Vonnegut, or Coupland. However, I worked at a library for two years, and am open to any book, ever. Some of my other favourites include Schindler's List, Life of Pi, Water for Elephants, Lullabies for Little Criminals, Prep, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, A Complicated Kindness, and the Harry Potters.

I don't watch too many movies, but I do enjoy them when I do. I loved The Shawshank Redemption, Pan's Labyrinth, Finding Neverland, Good Will Hunting, any documentaries, Elf, Forrest Gump, and Palindromes. However, I enjoy watching television series on dvd more.

Music! I could listen to music aaaallll day. I love all kinds of music but I guess I gravitate toward folk or indie. Anyway, my favorite artists include Girl Talk, Bon Iver, Justin Vernon, DeYarmond Edison, Justice, The Beatles, Modest Mouse, Bright Eyes, Cloud Cult, Land of Talk, Phoenix, Okkervil River, Sunset Rubdown, Wolf Parade, and The Weakerthans.

Food:
I love any greek food, pretty much.
I am always willing to try anything at least once.
My favorite restaurant is Padmanadi in Edmonton.
I love salmon and could eat it every day.
I am an avid tea drinker.

The six things I could never do without

1) Books
2) Animals
3) Music
4) My Rabbit
5) Momma
6) Tea

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything. I am always thinking.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am way shy.
