I heart my friends and family, my dogs, naps, clean underwear, carbs, ketchup, and quoting movies. I enjoy my job, it challenges me, but allows me time to live life, too! I'm driven, especially when I've put my mind to it; but I know how to turn the volume down and relax, and smell the proverbial roses.
I'm an active gal. I have a t-shirt that a friend of mine made that says: "Eat, Run, Eat Again" - and, I'm pretty good at living up to it. A typical week involves some yoga, soccer, cycling, swimming, running, dog walks, and eating. Speaking of eating - which, I do a lot of - I'm always on the lookout for new places to check out, and have some go to spots in D.C., Arlington, (note the Oxford comma) and Alexandria. I do love naps, too, and usually the exercise food lends itself to some delightful naps (especially coupled with bloody marys).
I heart music. I've listed some personal favs below, so I'll spare you the repeat. Other things I heart, flip-flops, and slippers (Yes, I have an Asian Grandmother, so it comes with the territory, along with bad driving and rice, lots of rice.). I also love a good book (followed by a nap), but currently that is being thwarted by my quest to become fluent in Spanish, and getting another certification for my job. Bah! I can't wait to read NOT textbooks.
I love to travel, both domestic and international, and I try to get a few trips in a year. Beach. Mountains. Snow. Sun. Pass on the desert. I tend to tie a vacation with a little adventure, food, and naps -- see motto above.
All in all, I try not to take myself to seriously, but I am a trusting, honest, caring, and committed person. Now, I know you can smell the cheese from here, but it's the truth and there is nothing wrong with cheese.
