My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I decided to stop working so hard and see what would happen if I just started making art. I ended of working a lot harder...oh well. That turns out to be fine with me, because I am a lot happier, so there it is. I make music that I can listen to when I'm doing the art, and the art all around me when I make the music.

I get out on my bicycle everyday and get what I need, visit friends, and it's great to get back to the studio. I love visitors, so I spend considerable time on making the studio inviting and comfortable.

Never met a person I didn't like. I get along best with people who love themselves, and keep a positive outlook even when things are tough. I look to find simple truths, and value experiences more than possessions. I always reserve judgement and have faith in peoples intensions rather than their actions.

as popolar culture continues it's decline, I have turned more to community involvement for entertainment. Local color..and for inspiration nothing beats going far away and spending time in other communities.

At some point I'll be selling my art..when I know what it's worth. In the meantime, I'm on the lookout for a woman with a familiar spark in her eye, a kindred spirit with a good sense of humor a generous heart.

Life is good. I have yet to meet anyone whom I would want to trade places with. So come find me, get me out of studio and have an adventure. I'm ready to have more of a love life. I expect it will be a woman with children, or who wants to be a mother. I am a single father. My twenty three year old daughter is the best thing that ever happened to me.
That's not a summary as much as a ramble, but I tried to pull in some elements that are worth talking about. You never now anything about a person though until you've spent some time to really get to know them.

Oh yeah, I like to write but I just never do it, same with putting my wet suit on and heading out to the beach. Come help me get that going again. I can help you find a good wet suit. It's best with a friend:) nothing like getting wet in the salt water and sand in your hair.

I feel "at home" wherever I am, here, in New York, New Orleans, Mexico, Italy, France. I make enduring friendships with the natives. I'll be traveling soon. Right now, everything just seems to be falling into place. so I think I will continue to embrace that . It just feels right.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
uh..refer back to the summary: Do You really want me to say that all again?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
preparing food. sweeping. forgetting jokes. kissing, don't really think much about what I'm good at. I count on the fact that if I want to be good at something I will have to work at it. Luckily, I am just fine with that. My plate is full right now
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am not really sure. Usually whatever they are inclined to notice or project, I would guess. Whatever they are looking for. Most people, including me, are inclined to project before perceive. If someone really notices something about me that I consider special I am always pleasantly surprised.

I follow the directors: allen, amodovar, bertolucci, wenders, Di palma, Lumet, many great ones...The directors who are free of ties that bind them to hollywood make the good movies. Hollywood tries but can never outgrow it's self indulgence. The biography of Cleopatra was the last book I've read. A great book. Love a good biography. I like the way Gore Vidal tells history. I loved Bonfire of the Vanities and Cold mountain as books, Shameful what hollywood did toe spoil the greatness of those books..... I love Roald Dahl. Gene Wilder in Willy Wonka was a master at the top of his game. I always loved reading russian writers. I think Great Expectations is one of the great works. Light in August was unforgettable. Tropic of Cancer, Naked Lunch, Slaughterhouse 5... The sunday new york times is always appreciated and devoured. I try to read the economist as much as I can for real up to date info on the state of the world. While I could live happily eating just granola fruit and yogurt, I am very fond of almost anything prepared well...I have a thing for oysters, chocolate, spinach, coffee, reeses peanut butter cups, duck breasts, shallot/sherry vinaigrette on new lettuce, pine nuts, smelly cheese, spanish olives and feta, heirloom tomatoes, fresh herbs, acme bread, raisin bran, and Nabalom Bakery's blackberry cheese danish. I love good food well prepared with cheap good wine. I could not live without the blues. Thelonius Monk was genius of the hidden melody, Hank Williams and Jimmie Rodgers great american songwriters, Loretta Lynn I saw in Nashville.....I got what is good about country by seeing her. Saw Bob Marley in 75, Amazing. I love almost every other kind of music. Even Gospel, rap, hip hop, middle eastern, bulgarian, indian music. Extended monotonous over produced house beats are probably my least favorite. I will never stop trying to keep up with what young artists are doing. Keeps my spirit alive, vital an young.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how to make a contribution to the world, to my daughters life, and creating art. looking for new recipes, learning new things. I try to feel/intuit things, and to "think" as little as possible. The brain is without a doubt the least developed and most unreliable part of the human being. how to get someone to realize that when I say they;re nuts, it;s a compliment
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I have never had a typical day or night. Although Friday is my favorite time of the year!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
that I am really an alien from another planet here learning how to surf, but no one believes me so I don't mention it much any more
