Nothing I write here seems to fit well and so I've decided to get a friend to do it. She wasn't coerced in any way, and anything you hear about 'threats to puppies' is a dirty lie. Anyway here's what she wrote.....

And if i wasn't for over 300 miles and my job taking me away for months, I would be with him like a shot...... Girls whoever gets him... your lucky so lucky i can't find the words for it....."

It's the nicest compliment I've ever received and way overly kind. But the puppy was unharmed so everyone wins really.

I have almost everything I feel I need in my life, apart from a winning lottery ticket and a genuinely wonderful woman with whom I could fall madly in love with......failing that I'll be a realist and settle for someone to have lots of fun times with instead. So with everything else in my life pretty much settled, I'm looking for a companion, a friend, a lover, and someone who will assist me in greasing the floors of an old peoples home when I intend to pull the fire alarm and not tell me I'm being immature (and for all those not growed up enough to take this as a joke, please write a reply to someone who might actually care about your complaint........for the simple minded, that isn't me :-p).

Indoor rock climbing, my career, being there for friends and family, hogging the remote control and finding things that are 'lost'. I do a good spaghetti bolognese, I do an even better cup of tea and I'm able to do a lot of sit ups (not that there is any practical use for this, that I know of).
I can also do English really proper and I'm also quite good at not taking things too seriously, unless it's really serious, and then I'll be good.......sometimes.
I am also good at things i won't discuss in polite company, and you'd have to know me really quite well to discover exactly what these things are :-).

That i'm not someone else.

My favorite book is 'I Lucifer' by Glen Duncan but love just about anything written by Ben Elton.
I like all kinds of films but tend to find I can't miss with anything directed by Christopher Nolan. I have a secret (well it was a secret until now) love of the film Hancock, and probably shouldn't admit that it brings a tear to my eye (it's just nice ok).
I like all kinds of music from Classical, songs by the Rat Pack, to rock by bands like My Chemical Romance, Bullet for My Valentine, and 30 seconds to Mars, and then to R&B, not so much dance but some is ok, Greenday, Coldplay, The Eagles, Eminem, James Blunt (yes I said it and I don't care), Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Norah Jones and even cheesy 80's ballads. I will not admit who my favorite band are unless you know me :-).
I love Italian Food, but woo me with a chicken curry and I'm all yours.

Nothing I would tell a stranger........unless they had sweets. Do you have any sweets? I could go for some sweets.

My job. How best to help others. If god exists and who he/she/it is. Whether I'm a good father and how I can improve, am I doing the right thing with my life, if a girl is looking at me because she likes me or because she's trying to figure out what I am, how on earth do I go about meeting the perfect woman, and what is going through my little boys head when he smiles in his sleep........or what he's thinking when he licks something that has clearly never been designed to be licked (like a spinning top, whilst it's spinning).

Me. I've never turned into anyone else on a Friday night......or any other night for that matter.......that I know of :-s. I'm either working, out for a meal with friends, looking after my son, at the cinema, or relaxing at home on the sofa watching a good film (wishing there was someone special snuggled in, watching it too).
