My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The dreaded "self-summary", or miniature biography. Writing these things has always filled me with a sense of dread, as such that I'm usually unable to write anything inherently coherent or meaningful. Which puts me at a loss, seeing as how people usually comment on how eloquent I am. If you've read this far already, I commend you on your persistence and hope you don't get put off by the following ramblings.

I have one tattoo, on my right forearm. I love body art, and already have three more planned, when money allows. I consider myself to be ambitious and passionate, yet also sympathetic, loyal and caring. Helping people is one of my main kicks in life, whether it's helping the occasional tourist find their way, teaching people new skills, or simply being there for friends when they need it, it's truly the one thing in life I really love.

Recently graduated from a reasonably prestigious BA, yet find myself stuck in a not-so-well-paid job which I'm fortunately passionate about.

Despite the aforementioned making me sound like a complete bore, I am actually a laugh sometimes, and there's nothing I love more than getting completely wrecked now and then with friends and dancing like a decapitated emu at some atrocious club or other.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work. A lot. Free time generally consists of cooking elaborate french meals a la Julia Child, most of which goes to waste because I'm hopelessly single. Gallery visits are also a favourite pastime, but I tend to find a lot of the current trends in the art world bland & banal. Did I mention I work a lot?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking, Photography, Self depreciation.
I really struggle to list things I'm good at. You'd have to ask my friends.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If i'm sober, people will usually comment on my hair or my smile (which is odd, because I HATE my smile). If I'm drunk, the first noticeable thing is probably how much of a state I am...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Fifty Year Sword, House of Leaves, Only Revolutions, How I Paid For College, On Photography (or any photographic theory book, as long as it stays away from landscape...)

Movies: Serenity, Amelie, Delicatessen, X-Men, Girl Interrupted.

TV: Rarely watch it, but to give an idea: Firefly, Buffy, Miranda, AbFab, Dollhouse, Hex, Family Guy, American Dad, various anime series.

Music: Most people comment on the strange assortment of music in my library. It varies from Pop (Gaga, Ellie Goulding) to Classical/Opera (Mozart, Puccini) to Metal (Tristania, Arch Enemy). My favourites at the moment are: Diablo Swing Orchestra, ETHS, Beseech and The Gathering.
Really though, I'll listen to anything except Rihanna, Rap/Hip-Hop and dubstep.

Food: I love all good food, from any region, but a few favourites include; Malaysian, Mexican, Japanese, French, Thai... I'm lactose intolerant, however, so I can be quite picky at times...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Camera(s), My friends, Wine, Music, Cats, Contrast (as a concept, not a photoshop effect)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It varies, depending on the week and my bank balance. Either out with friends, too drunk, or in with friends, not drunk enough.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I were willing to admit it on a public profile, it wouldn't be very private, would it?! I guess you'll just have to find out...
