By the age of thirteen, my family had moved six times. This footloose lifestyle eventually brought me to Texas for a masters in film directing, and I decided to stick around. I used to draw funny cartoons for a living, now I make trippy 3D animations...and get paid for it.
The truth is that I spent four and a half years killing myself to finish grad school and start a decent career. There are a lot of things that I could have done (sky diving, gardening, joining skiball league) but I was required to stare at a computer. Now I am done and I need to get that time back. My eyes are open! Just think of what it must have been like for Truman when he walked out of his fake world for the first time. That's me at this moment!
This is a great town filled with great people. If you want to share in this adventure, then you are welcome to come aboard. Forget match percent or any of that garbage. Whatever wild hobby or adventure you want, I'm in. I can promise that you will be hard pressed to find a more enthusiastic, curious, and risk-taking individual right now!
On another note, I firmly believe that most of Life's most valuable lessons can be found in Charlie Brown Comics.
