Frankly, I'm not incredibly familiar with the online dating scene. That being said, I've gotten mixed reviews but I'm forging ahead! So here are a few things about me...I've been in NYC for 8 years. I'm originally from the Boston area, although I spent about a year living in LA for work before moving here. I typically spend my days off with family or good friends, enjoying a nice meal (have to appreciate the amazing food in new york!) and exploring all the city has to offer. An 'urban hike' is my favorite way to spend an afternoon. I love to see where the day takes me, whether it be brunch, a museum, a concert w last minute tickets, a walk in central park or dinner and drinks with my nearest and dearest. Just walking around for the day, some very interesting things can happen! I am a passionate music fan (love to go see live shows), very laid back and adventurous. I exercise/work out regularly but I'm not psychotic about it. I looove to travel and have been fortunate enough to have seen most of the US and various other countries...I appreciate the need to leave the urban jungle regularly and find many a pleasure in doing so. I am equally happy to go out on the town (dive bar, wine bar, restaurant, lounge....whatever, I'm pretty easy to please in that department) or cook and watch a movie...or HBO/Showtime TV of which I am an avid fan! Someone who takes care of themself, is easy-going, friendly, adventurous, considerate and big-hearted who enjoys life and can find pleasure in the small things scores big points. Bonus if you can make me belly laugh and appreciate a small dose of sarcasm when indicated ;-)

living and working in New York City (I'm a nurse) and enjoying every minute of it :-) I consider myself very lucky to be able to live here, and I try to take advantage of all the city offers

Being a loyal friend, making people laugh, "going with the flow", listening and giving advice, being non-judgmental, trying new things, being on time, being organized and multi-tasking, cleaning (I know, right?? It's oddly therapeutic...), quoting movies, knowing a lot of utterly useless Hollywood trivia (basically from my love of movies) and I like to think karaoke although that is up for debate!

That I'm tall :-) 5'11" And I suppose my eyes?? Beyond that, I'm not sure...you'll have to let me know.

I will read, watch, listen to or eat pretty much anything at least once. I'm a huge music fan (can't even begin to list favorites, I'd rather talk about music in person but Pearl Jam is at the top of the list) and a bit of a foodie so anything in those 2 departments always pique my interest. I don't have a very favorite movie but it's one of my most favorite things to do (can't miss the previews either!) Come Oscar time, I've usually seen just about everything! TV wise--Dexter, Homeland, True Blood, The Newsroom, Nurse Jackie, The Big C, and Girls to name a few. And of course Madmen, The Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Breaking Bad, and most recently started Sons of Anarchy from season 1. Crazy good. I don't watch any of that real housewives BS or other garbage which is maybe rare for a girl, I'm not sure. I can't sit here and list all the books and authors I've liked, we'd be here all day, but I can read, I swear.... ;-)

usually out to dinner or drinks with friends...or home watching a movie. I unfortunately have to work some weekends so my schedule can allow for a weds or thurs night to be a lot more fun than a friday depending on the week.

I'm blind as a bat and probably wouldn't recognize my own family without my contacts. Beyond that, you'd have to wait to find out but I'm pretty much an open book.
