My Self-Summary

If you haven't already guessed, my name is Jason and I live in Fresno. I'm still a full time student and I work part time. When I'm not in class or working, I sleep all day and stay up all night. I write code and programs and other nerd-like stuff but consider myself to be not your typical nerd. In the winter I like to head up to Sierra Summit to ski or snowboard. I play the guitar. I do all kinds of random stuff and if I haven't tried it yet, chances are I will eventually. I'm pretty open, so talk to me if you want to know more.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm going to Fresno State full time, finishing my BS in Mechanical Engineering. I hope to graduate in spring 2010. I plan to take the EIT exam this fall and eventually get my PE (Professional Engineer) License. After I graduate I hope to get a job as an engineer here in the valley somewhere either in robotics, or the HVAC industry.

I’m really good at

Just about everything I do, except staying awake in class, and Guitar Hero on expert. I suck at those.

The first things people usually notice about me

I have red hair. I've been asked quite a few times if it's natural and... it is. My sense of humor comes as a shock to some people. Not a shock that I have one, but it's a very non-politically correct, nothing is sacred, dark, raunchy, make you snarf pop rocks out your nose if you're not expecting it type of sense of humor. Trust me, it's not for everyone.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't read much, if ever. It's not my idea of fun.

I like all different types of movies, especially comedies, but also anything from action to classic musicals.

Again I like listening to just about anything. It really just depends on what I'm in the mood for. I'll listen to rock, alternative, hip-hop, or even classical music.

I like lots of different kinds of food. I probably eat way too much fast food because it's tasty and convenient, but I try to limit myself somewhat. I also enjoy dining out, whether for Italian, Mexican, Chinese, American or whatever else. I like to try new things. I recently became a fan of sushi. When it comes to me cooking, I'm great with a bar-b-q, and have a few other meals up my sleeve as well. You'll have to find out for yourself what they are.

The six things I could never do without

My heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, intestine, and liver. Did I mention that I'm a smart ass?
