Sometimes I´m really quiet, sometimes I´m chatty. Love springtime and the rain, the sea in winter and the smell of rotting leaves in fall. Love reading and cooking, teaching, talking about politics or religion, dancing, knitting, hiking, hanging out with friends, meeting new people, trying new things and most of all traveling.

I’m enjoying it.
And I try to help my friends enjoy theirs.
And I raise a child that´s not biologically myown.

I´m not able to watch horror movies although I have a huge list of horror movies that I want to watch as soon as I´m all grown up and coldblooded(-:
Action flicks would be my favorite sleeping pill if I was able to handle the 20 min of boredom before I fall asleep...

No shows to name since I don´t own and do not want to own a TV set. And no, I do not feel the urge to watch them online. But sometimes when spending time with my South Park addicted friends we´ll all happily watch South Park together.

Music – at the moment it´s mainly The National, The Magnetic Fields, Regina Spektor, Bill Callahan, Ben Frost, Four Tet, Merrill Garbus, Beach House, The Knife, Soap&Skin, Vaughan and Coltrane, Bach, Haydn and Moondog.

I love FOOD, especially Thai and Indian food. I love cooking and eating and I love reading cookbooks. I could spend hours on the sofa reading recipes.

Chocolate, of course, and social injustice and about how not to forget or find stuff like keys and bags and so on.

If I´m not working probably at home cooking and/or watching movies with friends or guests.

This never has and never will happen, of course, but if I ever were to have a bad day I´d fix that by staying in bed, drinking homemade hot chocolate and watching The Hours. And voila, good mood!
