I grew up with a great male role model. My dad loved my mom more than himself. She was his elementary school sweetheart, his first love and he devoted his life to her. Unfortunately, she didn't feel the same way and treated him in a disrespectful and condescending way. This taught me two things: love is terribly powerful & settling for something you don't feel is right is a step in the wrong direction.

My perfect woman: Her personality is outgoing and compassionate. Her character is honest and fiery. Her style is classy and modest. She moves with grace and elegance. She possesses a feminine, nurturing energy.

To this woman I will give my calm, quiet strength; logic and reason; intuition and passion; patience and empathy; music and creativity; honesty and affection; humor and resourcefulness.

Learning Spanish, refreshing my dance moves, creating new arts and ideas and working a job for money while I gear up to do what I want for the rest of my life.

I'm a singer, guitar player, songwriter and human jukebox. It's a fundamental part of my life. You can find me playing around town at least twice a week, sometimes more. The Lafayette music scene has been wonderful and given me many great friends to watch and support.

Not being boastful, taking hints, making food, learning quickly, creating/returning positive energy, useless trivia, remembering lyrics, warm hugs and full body cuddles. It's not really me to talk about what I'm good at, though. I'd rather show than tell.

I love to cook and stay fit - always trying new things and not afraid to drift into unknown territory. My body is not well traveled but my tongue has tasted flavors from all over the world. My spice cabinet is priceless to me!

How much better relationships would be with a healthy dose of honesty and responsibility from both genders. It's okay to tell someone you meet up with that you're not attracted to them within the first few minutes of meeting them - and it's okay to be rejected 'cos then you can either make a new friend or enjoy not wasting your time playing pretend with someone you don't really like.

I was a dancer for 10 years when I was younger. Although I've forgotten most of what I learned I'd love to reactivate it -- are you ready to go dancing?

Since I went on about honesty up above - let me lay down my three potential deal-breakers on the table for you!

1) I'm noticeably missing some molar teeth from years of malnourishment.

2) My vehicle is a bicycle - not because I've lost my license or don't know how to drive but because it's intimate, helps me stay in shape and allows me to have more money to live on my own and do the things I love to do.

3) I work 3rd shift which creates some scheduling conflicts for those who work during the afternoon and evening.

Now you know... and knowing is half the battle.
