My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm originally (and still am, mind you) from the south coast of Ireland, and have lived in Edinburgh for the past 3 years. My social circle during that time has been relatively small, or, at times, barely existent. I'm usually regarded as pleasant and witty by those that know me.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I came to Edinburgh to study for a PhD in music, which I subsequently opted to discontinue. This isn't something that I ever dreamt would happen when I first came to Scotland, but alas, life gets muddled. Prior to that I studied in Newcastle for a year.

Anyway, I like Edinburgh so much that I've chosen to stay for now. Still figuring out exactly how I'm going to contribute to society!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I would say my main aptitudes are in music and the written word. I can airbrush really well, too. [EDIT: Reading this back ages after I wrote it, it sounds like I'm saying I look good in airbrushed photos. Whether I do or not, what I really meant was I'm OK at using Photoshop.]
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably the fact that I don't speak very much. (Not on account of an oral impairment - I just don't do small talk with strangers very well.)

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
While it seems laughable to me on many levels, I have to admit that it's football nowadays. I say laughable because it's something that I shunned almost entirely for most of my adolescence and young adulthood. That was until a few years back, when I lived in Poland for a year on a study abroad programme, and football served as the great unifying force that connected myself and other European students. That said, Poland changed me quite a lot, considering I went there as a non-drinking vegan...

Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Craving Indian food.
