I like having conversations about things that matter - at least I/we think matter. I also like sharing those quiet moments with a partner when you don't have to talk - you can just be. Together. I like to take my date to a show or dinner, with or without our friends; we decide.
Texting is great but I like to call when its important or something could be misunderstood; I'm more careful about that these days. I am thankful that this site doesn't have so many (solely) pet photos. I'm not interested in dating your dog/cat, though I'm sure I'll love to play with it!
In the short run I could be diverted into some temporary fun, but in the long run I am looking for a committed relationship. That said, I've been around the block and know that such relationships are best not rushed and there is a lot of fun and exploration first. So mostly I am looking to meet new people casually and allow good things to happen if the chemistry is right.
