My self-summary
Ignore everything he has written. I will leave it intact for now, but take it with a grain of salt. frozen_seraphim is my BFF. I have loved him from the minute I met him because of his quick wit, dark humor, and gigantic smile. He is one of the most upbeat people I know, and is genuinely concerned about my well-being. Most people make shallow and superficial inquiries about your day, but when he asks, he actually wants to know and will make an effort to improve anything about it that was sub-par, or give you a hug, if that will help. He is soothing to be around, but easy to energize. I have had more fun with him in the past 6 months than I have with some friends I've known my whole life. He's not one to take the lead though, but will follow anyone to a good time.

If I had to list a fault, it is his easy-going nature, which sometimes leads to him letting others dictate/mandate his decisions for him. He needs someone that is comfortable being "the decider" because he is most definitely NOT.

In summation: smart, sarcastic, hilarious, thoughtful, great companion, and easy to boss around - ladies, he's a keeper. :)

Now what he wrote:
*****************
First off, I just need to say that I am a geek. I love movies, superhero comics, role playing games (both on- and off-line) and above all, I have what I like to think is a fairly respectable collection of Transformers. Oh! And I love to cook for friends and family.

I try to look good for others - you know, clean clothes, shower daily (or twice daily if need be) and look presentable. Unfortunately, I tend to let my living space (small as it is) be pretty disorganized - at least, when I don't have someone else for whom to keep it looking more acceptable.

Too much nerd for ya? I'd suggest you stop reading now.

Is anyone left? Great. While I still have my "homebody" hobbies, I also would like to get back into camping and hikeing, so long as there's something to do other than fish once we reach the camping spot (I'd suggest more role playing games, but that's just me). I've never gone out dancing, and I'm a little nervous doing it, but I'd love to learn a few moves and get out there.

Okay; goin' back to my geekery:

I'm not a mint-in-box collector. If I get something, it's usually with the intention of opening it up, using it, and having fun! There's kind of a trend in the collector community to make photo comics using toys from their collection. I had the same idea at some point, and started jotting ideas down here and there. Hard to say if anything will come of it, but I still enjoy the writing exercise.

Speaking of, I like going to the Three Barons Renaissance Faire each year. I don't always dress up, but when I do, I enjoy the Faire so much more.

I am funny, tall, and geeky

What I’m doing with my life
Hmm... right now? I'm working on myself, happily getting back into shape (there's a lot to be said for simply eating right and taking the stairs at the office!), reconnecting with old friends, as well as trying to make new ones.

I've been collecting Transformers toys (as well as others) for the last few years, but lately my heart just hasn't been in it and decided that it's time to let some of that stuff go. So once the collector's market has money again, I'll be selling a good portion of my collection.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Superhero comics ( Marvel comics, specifically) and sci-fi novels. A friend recently got me into Orson Scott Card and the Ender saga. Wonderful stuff.

Movies: Anything that catches my fancy, from the clever and insightful allegories in some of the older sci-fi movies to the testosterone-laced Summer Action Blockbuster. Aaaand musicals. My favorite is My Fair Lady.

Music: Too eclectic for my own good, I suppose, but I tend to drift towards Metal and Rock and New Swing. Recently got into Nerdcore Rap as well.

Food: I love food. I'm a bit of a foodie, I suppose. Love trying new things and generally I'll try anything twice. Double entendre intended.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Giant robots. And pirates, probably. Ooh! robot pirates! Other than that, I have an idea for a restaurant/bar that would, hopefully, do pretty well in providing a place for drunken geek-nerd-hookups that could potentially create new hybrid geeklings. Seems I have some money to raise....

On a typical Friday night I am
Either entering all this personal information on dating sites and wondering why I can't find what I'm looking for, or playing Champions Online and answering that question for myself. :P
