My self-summary
If you know anyone who likes football, Game of Thrones (the books and the HBO series), throwing darts, exercising, Deadspin, and works for an electrical distributor you either know me or you know someone who may very well be my doppleganger. Oh yeah, I also think I like video games but if you compared me to someone who considers themself a gamer I probably come up woefully short of what their concept for being a gamer is. I'm sure there's more to me but this is only a rough draft for a profile. I'm also pretty stream of conciousness when it comes to things if you haven't noticed yet.
What I’m doing with my life
I recently got promoted to salesman, but a bigger desk equals bigger headaches. It's fun though even if the mistakes have my name on them now. So yeah, a big chunk of my life is learning how to effectively do my job and figuring out how to keep myself from burning out on it.
I’m really good at
I'm pretty good at saying dumb stuff that depending on your sense of humor is either funny or dumb as hell. Other than that I'm pretty average at a lot of things but I think that means I'm still better than roughly 3.5 billion other people. If that's actually the case then I think I'm doing all right.
The first things people usually notice about me
It could be my voice or my height I don't know, it depends on the person. I have a deep voice for a little dude (I'm only 5'4", I'm distinctly aware that most girls are as tall as I am, and taller than me when wearing heels).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Holy cow, where do I start?
I'm waiting for A Dance with Dragons to come out in paperback. Me and one of the guys in the warehouse burned through the first four in about a month. But aside from that series, I really like Evan Wright (Generation Kill and Hella Nation), Haruki Murakami, I used to like Chuck Palahniuk until his stuff got stale. There's way too much for me to go over. (Man, that's a lot of names I accidentally dropped.)

Movies, I like mostly dumb stuff: Evolution, Super Troopers, Talladega Nights, but also stuff like Red Dawn, Top Gun, and Scarface (can you tell what generation I grew up in yet?).

My favorite TV shows are pretty standard fare: Parks & Rec, Community (Yay! Dan Harmon's back!), Entourage, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, The Wire (greatest show ever), and I recently discovered Battlestar Galactica. Yeah, nerd alert but whatever, that show is amazing. And once I work through BSG I plan to jump into Breaking Bad and finish Mad Men.

My musical interests changes every so often. Right now it's kind of alt rock I guess? I can't explain how happy I am that there's an alternative to Star 101.9 and those stations play more Beck, Weezer, Rage Against the Machine, Arctic Monkeys, etc. In fact I was so inspired after watching Scott Pilgrim vs the World that I'm getting a guitar for Christmas so I can be like Sex Bob-Omb.
The six things I could never do without
1) Deadspin
2) My Blackberry (yeah, I'm that guy that still has a phone with buttons)
3) My car
4) Water
5) Other people to cook food (I hate cooking because I'm terrible at it)
6) Caffeine

Those things are in no particular order, but Deadspin is pretty high on the list regardless.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Random stuff. It could be anything at any given moment and something completely different in the following moment. Like I said, I'm really stream of conciousness.
On a typical Friday night I am
At Underdogs waiting for a dartboard with my friends. Or asleep at home because I start work at 5:45 AM (for no good reason since I don't need to be in the office until 7).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sing the girl parts of songs when I'm driving.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–29
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You know me or my doppleganger. Or think you do. Or don't.
