I've lived and worked in Japan for the last 9 years. I'm well traveled and well educated. I'm level headed but I love a good adventure, and believe that *nothing* is impossible!
I love hanging with friends... That includes nights on the town drinking, playing billiards or darts, occasionally going clubbing, etc,etc... It also includes playing cards, video games, or intoxicated jenga at home!
I'm probably not your average American guy... I don't get pegged as American, even when I'm state-side. But razor-sharp wit aside, I have good old "American values" - I'm not a religious person, but I love my family and am glad to be back in upstate NY for a while. Furthermore, I'm a relationship guy - not to say I'm a complete prude, but (i) I'm not a casual $ex kind of guy and (ii) if I'm going to date someone exclusively I'm very much a "me and you, you and me - tied at the hip" type of guy, and therefore very, very picky ;)
Trivia Bits:
1. I can speak (not to mention read/write) Japanese so well that you wouldn't know I was anything other than Japanese on the phone
2. I have previously broken three fingers and my left shoulder studying the martial arts (Karate and Aikido) - I broke all three fingers on the same guy's leg
3. I can dance the Argentine Tango and am best friends with the couple that won the world championship a few years back
4. I used to make video games for a living (yes, I'm *that* much a geek)
Turn-ons: Proper English and a sense of humor. You don't need to be a female David Letterman or Jim Carrey, nor do you need to be a perfect speller (lord only knows I'm *not* - lol) - "relatively articulate," "capable of forming full (non-Ebonics) English sentences" and "not completely dull" will suffice ;)
