As my user name implies (ever so subtly), I'm a bit of a dork, but in the BEST ways possible :) I'm an intelligent, motivated, passionate person, but I also enjoy being silly with friends, watching a good Disney movie, or reading a Harry Potter book every now and then. I think that the key to living a full life is balance, and I constantly strive to find the "right" balance at any given point in time.

I moved to NYC almost two years ago and have relished the opportunity to explore the city and reconnect with family and friends after being gone from NY for so long (I lived in VA for school and work for a total of 8 years, but am from LI originally). I am fortunate enough to have some great people in my life, but I am always open to meeting new ones who could ultimately be anything from social acquaintances to long-term friends to something more.

I am currently working as an associate at a start-up investment bank, and fortunately I love my coworkers and find what I do to be interesting. However, I also have a strong passion for theatre, which I pursued for two years prior to starting in my current position. I haven't given up on the dream of making theatre a part of my daily life, but rather I am now trying to find balance between my two passions. Step one was to move to the city that is a mecca for both!

Theatre: oh boy.... Les Mis (first show I ever saw; the reason I fell in love with theatre), Dog Sees God, Next to Normal, Sons of the Prophet, ...Spelling Bee, Water By The Spoonful, Avenue Q, Dogfight, Once (if you saw this and did not cry, we are not a match, sorry), and more

Music: Adele, Show tunes, Glee, 80's music, Mika, Muse, Queen, DMB, Kylie Minogue, P!nk (extremely impressed by her lately)

Food: Mac 'n cheese, pizza, and basically anything else (thai, Turkish, sushi, Italian, etc.)
