My Self-Summary
There are songs that I can't help but dance to and sometimes I sing in the shower. (Not very well...or the right lyrics usually- but sometimes mine are more fun!)
Being from Hawaii, I'm most comfortable in a bikini, but since it doesn't work that way in SF- you'll most likely find me happy in my comfiest pair of jeans- I've decided it's a job requirement for me. But I like getting dolled up too!
I'm a foodie. Sometimes a cork dork. I used to sell wine. Now I just drink it with really yummy cheese. My current favorite is goat's milk brie from Trader Joes. LOVE Trader Joes. I love exploring new restaurants- just as much as I love getting creative in the kitchen.
I moved from Hawaii a year and a half ago and am wild about San Francisco. It is an AMAZING city! I will say that I REALLY miss surfing...but not enough to get in the water here. brrrrr. I play rec soccer and I attempt to play tennis. I like being active and trying new sports/hobbies/etc...I love nature and being outdoors, but there are those days that nothing beats a movie marathon, can't-put-it-down fiction, or a snugglefest!
What I’m doing with my life
Travel will always be an important part of my life. I think it's the best education out there! I put on a backpack and spent two years just traveling. Facilitated it by teaching English in Mexico, Guatemala and Thailand, met a chief in Samoa, spent 24 hours in Taipei to run a hash run, took a train over the border in Hong Kong just to say I've been to China, gained weight in Italy, lost it all in Germany, had everything I own stolen in Costa Rica, still...fell in love with Costa Rica, ate bunny on Easter in Greece, "wow"ed at Angkor Wat, "wow"ed even harder at Machu Picchu, and there's still so much more "wow"ing to do. Just landed back in the city after a six month cross country road trip and I am grounding myself for the moment until the next adventure.
