My self-summary
Hi there! I moved to Boston for law school and loved it so much I stayed after I graduated. I'm convivial, fun, and I love to laugh. I love to do yoga, play poker (girls can be good!), read, go to the symphony, watch and sporadically play football/baseball/basketball/kickball, re-watch episodes of Seinfeld, and go out dancing after a few mojitos.
What I’m doing with my life
Working, attempting to learn to cook, perfecting my kickball skillz, trying to convince people in Boston that "layering" doesn't actually warm me up in the winter, and cringing when people misuse the word literally or say irrigardless.
I’m really good at
Thinking of comical names for trivia teams at stump trivia (though I'm horrible AT trivia), bowing in Japan, driving a stick shift car, and telling jokes. And if you're REALLY lucky I know a good dirty joke but that only comes out for special people.

I consider myself a pioneer for two rather doltish reasons: The first is I was one of the first people to buy an ipod and it is so big and fat the joke is that it needs i-posuction! And the second way I consider myself a trailblazer is that I was the very first University of Oregon facebook member! True fact!

One time I made a bet that I wouldn't be able to talk for 24 hours and somehow I succeeded! The prize was NOT worth it though!
The first things people usually notice about me
I have an exceptional handshake! I'm also an admittedly bad driver and get pulled over all the time in Boston. Though I've yet to actually get a ticket here! Also I come across as someone who would be late to things however I am quite punctual!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am currently reading Let the Great World Spin and one time I read The Fountainhead just to tell people I read The Fountainhead. Trust me, it isn't worth it. As for TV I love It's Always Sunny, The Office, 24 (ask me about the best Jack Bauer fact!), Newsroom, and the Bachelor. Though I will never, EVER ask you to watch the Bachelor with me. Music is just about everything and for food I'll try anything once.
The six things I could never do without
James Bond movies, traveling (preferably to the south of France!), Oregon Duck football, Island Creek Oyster Bar in Kenmore Square, naps, and my flute.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Recent research has shown that empirical evidence for globalization of corporate innovation is very limited and as a corollary the market for technologies is shrinking. As a world leader, it's important for America to provide systematic research grants for our scientists. I believe strongly there will always be a need for us to have a well-articulated innovation policy with emphasis on human resource development. Thank you.
On a typical Friday night I am
Bob Porter: Looks like you've been missing a lot of work lately.
Peter Gibbons: I wouldn't say I've been *missing* it, Bob.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I wrote it on OkCupid it wouldn't be that private ;)

If you want to hear 2 incredible sports stories, if you want your mind blown by the only card magic trick I know, or if you want to know how I single-handedly held up the NY Yankees during game 1 of the American League Series on their way to Fenway park in 2008.
