I am logic-minded, creativity-oriented, and variety-seeking.
My Self-Summary
I try to be honest with myself and others. I tend to overthink,
which can be productive or infuriating. I believe in small
adventures: although bound by typical suburban routines, I have a
special appreciation for life's variety. I want to do it all before
I'm dead, so I try to experience new things--food, activities,
education, locations, people--at least occasionally. I think life
is too short to follow the crowd and worry about someone else's
definition of "cool". Evidence indicates I'm at least part
nocturnal.
Note: I pretty much disagree with all my personality awards.
What I’m doing with my life
I can't say what my job is. It's somewhere between a super-secret
VP and a super-secret janitor. I am good at cleaning my bathroom,
but that may be a coincidence.
What's outside of work is what matters to me. I'm into various
creative work: dance, drawing, writing, and music. I play tennis
when I can. I'm not a true gamer, but on occasion with friends I'll
partake in music or party games (i.e. Guitar Hero/Rock Band/Mario
Kart/Mario Party/WarioWare). Board games and random discussion are
also fun. I love learning new things, so I read a lot of nonfiction
and will probably accrue a record number of community college
credits.
I’m really good at
Staying up late. Listening. Drifting off. Thinking straight.
Considering others' perspectives. Remaining calm. Deep
conversation. Funny random conversation. Procrastinating. Not
sweating the small stuff. Keeping secrets. Comparison shopping.
Identifying typos.
The first things people usually notice about me
I dunno. I've been told I seem quiet at first, then those who stick
around find out I'm sarcastic, funny, and pretty weird.
The six things I could never do without
(1) Good comedy: in media, in conversation, and in my head. (2)
Good music: in the car, at home, at work, and again in my head. (3)
Creative outlets: life just doesn't seem right without them. (4) A
computer, with internet of course: college made me a computer nerd,
who may be found cursing when slow internet speed strikes. (5)
Late-night dining: replace those calories burned in the club.
Someone please give Denny's some competition. (6) Napkins: as a
clean freak, I cannot stand grease or crumbs on my fingers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Creative projects. The problems of people I care about. How to be a
happier, better person. The optimal usage, and unrelenting passage,
of time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Dancing at a club, eating, drinking, talking and playing games with
friends. Or just as easily, watching TV or a movie, reading, or
working on art at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm pretty sure I have mild OCD. Not quite Jack Nicholson in As
Good As It Gets... more like Jerry on Seinfeld.
You should message me if
You have a life of your own but are seeking enhancement. You like
to discuss and joke about random things. You're opinionated but
open-minded. You have similar interests, or are similarly
interested in new experiences. You're kind at heart with good
intentions, but know how to make a mean joke in the name of laughs.
