I just graduated from ODU. I play music (primarily bass, but I dabble in guitar and drums as well). I enjoy film and filmmaking. Currently I'm doing sports video, which is more exciting than it sounds.

I really try to be optimistic about things, even though it may not seem like it.

Oh and I'm a Steelers and Penguins fan. I don't really follow baseball.

What I’m doing with my life

I just moved into a new place biking distance from my job. Currently I edit video and run audio for two of the university's athletic buildings. Hopefully, I can travel some more when the sports seasons are done. Ultimately, I want a house with a yard so I can have somewhere to let the dog run.

I’m really good at

relaxing. I know that sounds strange but I run into so many stressed out people these days that just cannot seem to calm themselves.

Also, I'm evidently good at finding things because everyone seems to call me when they can't find something or need the answer to something.

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't really know, I've never asked. It's probably the beard. Hopefully it's not something negative like that I forgot to put on pants or something. I'd rather it be that I'm easy to talk to, or maybe that I look alive.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Currently, I'm reading a book of Bukowski poems, an oral history on Hunter S. Thompson, and Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs. I need to read more often.

Movies: I like a lot of them. Favorites though? The Jerk, Brazil, The Seventh Seal, Blade Runner, The Big Lebowski, Best in Show, The Goonies, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Annie Hall, and Lots of Documentaries.

Music: I'm really listen to a lot of different stuff. Otis Redding, Portishead, Sigur Ros, Gov't Mule, The Love Language, Xavier Rudd, Derek Trucks Band, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Old School Hip Hop, Al Green, Parliment, Bela Fleck, The Velvet Underground, Reverend Horton Heat, The Flaming Lips, and a lot more.

Food? Chinese, Italian, German, American, Mexican, I like it all.

No, but really, my mind just tends to wander through current situations in life.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with friends, practicing for a gig, watching movies, etc. Lately, I've been riding my bike a lot. My bike tends to like going to food places these days though, so the rides are probably negated by what I consume at the destination.

I take offense when people bad mouth my dog. He loves everyone, don't be an ass.
