I've never been good at describing myself objectively, so I like to let other people handle that. This is how my former roommate describes me:

"She has a huge heart, a great sense of humor (albeit a smidge sarcastic), loads of talent, and she's a stellar cook. Great fun at a party or just chillin' with a few friends, a glass of wine, and good conversation. She works hard, but always finds time for her passions ~ writing and comedy. She's a great listener, a great friend, knows how to make people laugh, and beats me at Scrabble every time we play! She is there when you need her to be, but independent enough to do her own thing when the time comes. She's done the relationship thing, and the singleton thing, and she may just be ready for another go at dating IF Mr. Fabulous happens along..."

I guess that's probably pretty accurate, although I think she beat me at Scrabble once :D

What I ought to do for work is host a late night talk show, cuz I'm charming, make other people seem really interesting, and am rarely appropriate for prime time broadcast.

I haven't gotten that offer yet, so I make my living as a technical writer - and if you're angry about the manual that came with your software, I guarantee that wasn't one of mine.

When I don't feel like making money, I write screenplays (v. good) and poetry (v. bad). I also do stand-up comedy for some of the smallest, but thankfully drunkest, audiences in the world.

Playing games (with dice or cards, not the emotional sort)

Music) At the moment: Jesca Hoop, Elbow, Brandi Carlisle, Cake, Modest Mouse, Catatonia, Esquival, Maroon 5, Aimee Mann, Cowboy Mouth, Barenaked Ladies, Talking Heads - I'm really bad with names, so lots of other stuff

Foods) Sashimi, guacamole, mangoes, really good bagels with lox and cream cheese, pretty much anything asian

Waste. Sometimes I feel surrounded by, almost immersed in, waste. Not just the physical sort (have you ever thought about garbage? it's a fairly modern invention but we all take for granted our *right* to create as much as we like), but all the time and energy wasted every day on things we've been convinced are so important...

And then I spend the next lot of time thinking about what's important. Extra points if you can tell me in 100 words or less!
