My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's get the interesting stuff out of the way first, shall we? Note: I'm not an A-list member; if you want my attention please drop me a direct message.

I am an outgoing, extremely young at heart genderfluid, demisexual, polyromantic, pansexual male. I'm interested in friendship, or FWB, and possibly more. I'll date any gender on the spectrum and I don't care particularly how you present yourself; just be comfortably you.

My firmest belief is that minds are like doors: they function best when open. Prejudice, bigotry, hatred, discrimination: these things have no place in my life. This includes gender discrimination. As a recent acquaintance of mine said, trans* people have a very special place in my heart.

Drugs: I don't like tobacco at all. Alcohol is OK if you're not a sloppy drunk. Hard drugs: ew. No. Just ... No. I use cannabis medically and recreationally, and am an advocate of the amazing, healing herb. (Cannabis is not a drug.)

I'm very easygoing. I'm a gamer, writer, stand-up philosopher and humanist who is still, after all these years, looking to learn, expand my horizons, and grow. My sweet housemate is teaching me to draw and we love to roleplay as a creative way to develop new fiction. If you RP, great! Contact me :3

I'm something of a generalist. My major background is in computers, but I have learned a little about a whole lot of things. I love fiction, music, art, movies, TV. From my perspective, Science is the driving force behind civilization, but Art is what makes it all worthwhile.

Loves: music, sweets, sweet people, slow passionate lovemaking, hot monkey sex, empathy, cleverness, compassion, loyalty, honor, strength, fidelity.

Hates: bigotry, zealotry, outright rejection of reality.

Weaknesses: includes essays like this, that can fall victim to my stream of consciousness style of writing, and then rapidly become tl;dr. Also, I'm easily seduced. :(

I'm usually a very open person who says entirely too much and has no idea how not to be excessively honest. I'm generally eager for people to know who I am and what I'm all about, and when I meet you I'll want to learn all about you, too.

You'll never know me through an essay. I'm easy to meet, easy to know, easy to get along with. Let's get together and have a cup of coffee somewhere!

If you choose to message me, then let's communicate. Big pet peeve: people who leave a message, let me type a lot, then reply again. Later. Like a day or two. If you message me I'll be back in touch as soon as I realize I got a notification. Promise.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working on various bits of fan fiction, a novel, and focusing on a new career in medical cannabis.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, appreciating music and art in all its forms, making others laugh, being silly. Teaching others about things that matter. Computers and software but please don't try to turn me into your tech support.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My smile and gentle nature.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I love supernatural fiction: Anne Rice, Laurell K. Hamilton, Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan (The Hollows) series, Twilight (yes, I'm good with sparkly vampires), Tara Lain's Aloysius series.

My preference is for superhero action movies, but I have a very wide range of movie interests. The Iron Man movies are currently my all time favorites. But, then again, so is "Better than Chocolate." I am a geeky nerd deep in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Bonus points if you know who Skye really is.

I enjoy theater, classical music, rock music, grunge, thrash, heavy metal, female vocals, male vocals, instrumentals ... oh, you get the idea. If it moves me, it moves me.

My favorite foods are whatever I'm in the mood for at any moment. I tend toward non-American cuisine but it is entirely possible to catch me at a Sonic downing a hamburger, tater tots, and a coke.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Love
2. Sex - but let's be clear: I like to take a lot of time enjoying slow, sensual sex. I'm in no hurry unless that's what my partner needs.
3. Music
4. Friends
5. Art
6. Laughter
7. Sex (yes, the list is for 6 items. This is worth repeating. I love sex XD)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
... how do I grow myself and become a better person? What things can I do to improve myself and my life and make people I care about happier?

Is my cat getting enough cheese?

How many calories are in a bouquet of roses?

Does Phil -really- have a harmonic orchestra?

Why does my Retemodeeps read -100 kph??
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
...frequently doing what I do most other nights: chatting with friends across the internet, writing, listening to music, playing games, watching TV or a movie. Or perhaps I'm downtown, soaking up the nightlife. I COULD be out field herping with my adorable housemate. I may be doing something very different, or, perhaps, just being wildly inappropriate.

Games: Warframe is currently my favorite since NCSoft shut down City of Heroes, but I've been recently introduced to The Secret World and Guild Wars 2. I also enjoy WoW.

NCSoft has a good grasp of what a good game is, but ... still ... GIVE ME BACK MY CITY (of Heroes), YOU SICK BASTARDS!! So I'm playing GW2 under a little bit of protest. But it's a great game.

I also love pinochle, hearts, spades, and many other card and board games - the more social, the better.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can't tolerate blind religious fervor. Religious intolerance has been responsible for more death, misery, and suffering than any foolish actions ever made by any other groups ever. Quoting "god's will" to me is just ... pointless.

That being said, I'm not opposed to you believing what you wish. I'm closer to being Buddhist than anything else. If your beliefs genuinely help make your life and the world better places, then I'm down with it!

Also, if this is "the most private thing I'm willing to admit," isn't it now the most public thing I'm willing to admit??
