I am deep, genuine, and random.

My Self-Summary

I'm an excellent listener, the downside of which is that I often forget to talk about myself. A gentle reminder often does the trick though.

What I’m doing with my life

"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.". So said John Lennon (oh, and David Brent said this too in 'The Office', but details...)

So, I'm currently living the London life as a software developer in trendy West London. This means lunch breaks are usually spent chilling in cafés, whilst I unwind the morning's stresses and strains over a coffee.

But, all the while, I'm wondering what my other plans should be.

The first things people usually notice about me

My height. Beyond that, they never tell me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favourite books of all time are Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. These books touched me in a way no others ever have, but I'm yet to figure out precisely why.

Music is a tough one, as it can be so intrinsically personal. I could try and sum it up with electronica, 90's rock, 70's glam and J-pop.

Also, I love Manga and Anime. In this way, I empathise with an entire nation on the other side of the world.

Food is good, especially pasta, pizza and sushi. Sushi pizza is not so good however.

The six things I could never do without

(1) My close friends (I know it's a cliché, but it's so damn true :)
(2) Tea/coffee/Irn-Bru - Caffeine isn't a drug; it's brain fuel.
(3) The sun; just seeing sunlight cast over everything makes me feel kinda good.
(4) Some manga to tide me over on a long journey.
(5) Good food.
(6) An internet connection (and some geeky gadget with a web browser to go with it)
