I am a LOLfest, freckled, and domestic.

My Self-Summary

Dishing out Gypsy Curses since 1983!!!

I'm twenty something and growing... (There's always the aesthetics to mention first... six feet tall... green eyes... black hair with bangs... glasses if the mood strikes me... enough tattoos to consider myself "tattooed".... a few boring piercings... freckles... fair skin... whatever.)

Career wise I work for HP acting as a liaison between one of the state Medicaid offices and the Department of Social Services. Nothing as glamorous as my last job, but it pays well. What I do is boring to talk about, but it's moderately challenging, and it makes me feel great about myself; I know that I can support myself and I have an extremely valuable skill that gives me the option to travel anywhere in the country I desire.

I have an amazing daughter... Kennedy Elizabeth.... she's three and a half now and it's crazy to think there was life before she was born. Being a parent is awesome, and it motivates me like crazy. I want to achieve and set a powerful example for her. I want her to be inspired by my actions and drive, so I strive daily to better myself.

I'm into art... I paint a lot, and love to talk about artistic methods...especially if they are non-traditional. I love music. I go to as many shows as possible. I've seen the greats (Pink Floyd, Boston, Cake, NIN, Sevendust, Bloodhound Gang, Tool, etc...) and I've seen the... not so greats (we'll leave it at that).

Courtesy LSR:

"...Also, I have recently met this amazing man (LSR). He has brought so much happiness to my life. I love that I look forward to seeing him when we are not together and I love every minute that we spend together..."

**Update nearly one year later : Relationships are confusing, odd, wonderful, hurtful, stressful, funny, and... yeah. I'm somehow different, but strangely still the same. Minus trolling the bar for new victims.

What I’m doing with my life

Right now I'm filling out this section called "What I'm doing with my life" (Also probably still recovering from the 4th of July Jello-Shot Extravaganza!!!--circa 2004) (It's Summer 2008 and I think this headache I have is probably still from the fourth of July, 2004. Thanks Chris and Amber. Thanks a lot.)

I just noticed that I use a lot of "( )"'s and "..."'s. Dork-berg.

I already mentioned my kick ass job... I work... work... work...

I guess I kinda touched on everything in the first section.

I’m really good at

-Cooking. Really. ((I can cook just about anything--not to sound pompous, but my eggplant rollotini could probably start a war.))

-Being a mother. I love my daughter more than life itself.

-Making people laugh. I'm hilarious. And humble, too. I'm a real LOL-fest.

-Painting... and writing... I guess you could say that I'm a starving artist... though not so starving because the fridge is pretty full (mostly leftovers, but pretty full).

-I've also recently found that I'm good at looking to far into things... or not looking close enough... or something. (Hmmm... maybe I'm just good at getting involved with guys who like to play mind games....)

-And rambling... I'm really good at that too... you know... going on and on and on.....

-And cleaning. Huzzah domestic subservience! I am really good at cleaning...(Actually, as the years pass, I get more and more compulsive. You should see me "Swiff" at three AM. That's right. I Swiff.)

(Lou says I'm a superb listener and great at entertaining on lazy days...)

-I am great at being a lover.
-Good at being honest (sometimes too honest).
-Fair at following through with my goals.
-Kinda fair at responding quickly to emails...
-Sucky at keeping in touch with people I miss....

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes... or my tattoos. There are a lot of them. The tattoos, I mean. :)

My bells draw a lot of attention, too... I (used to) wear slave bells around my ankles so that I made this tiny jingle sound when I walked. (My explanation : I can never get lost if I wear them... because I'll always *hear* myself where-ever I am... thus-- I can't be lost, because I *am* where-ever the jingle is. It makes sense to me, anyway :) )

***That was a long time ago, but I like who I was then, so I'll just leave it and try to think really hard about what quirks I've developed since. ***

Let's see how long THAT takes to update..... (**insert your own appropriate level of sarcastic inflection here**)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

You have to be kidding me. I hate limiting questions like that.

I'll give you this. Best (more than) Three Movies of all time: Goodfellas Garden State Clerks 2... Harry Potter... LOTR... Fight Club... Blues Brothers... The Green Mile... Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.... ...there's always The Rocky Horror Picture Show and OF COURSE... I LOVE THE BIG LEBOWSKI!!!! .. and an amendment to this... I just saw "The Secretary".. and I think that it might bump one of those other movies out of my top (more than) three.... Pulp Fiction rocks, by the way.... ...and I'm a junkie for Johnny Depp. And I can't leave out "Finding Neverland" ...and I'm a slut for Harry Potter.

I don't care how geeky that makes me.

Music? Here you go... Cruxshadows, Bjork, Front 242, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Deep Purple, Boston, TIGERMILK, The Allman Brothers, Aphex Twin, Urge Overkill, Velvet Acid Christ, GG Allin, The Rolling Stones, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Bella Morte, Wolfshim, Operation Ivy, The Cure, Flatline, Queen, David Bowie, Duran Duran, Iggy Pop, The Beatles, Poison the Well, Abba, Mike Patton, Tenacious D, Dusty Springfield, The Bloodhound Gang, Gnarkill, The Ramones, Faith No More, DBX, Yes, The Who, Max Creek, K's Choice, Ravi Shankar, ACDC, CCR, The Doors, Heart, Janis Joplin, Eric Clapton, Ministry, The Dresden Dolls, Judas Priest, TECHNO, Souxie and the Banshees, Concrete Blonde, David Brockie, U2, Marilyn Manson, Madball, Voltaire, Tapping the Vein, Bright Eyes, Mindless Self Indulgence, Dispatch, Stabbing Westward, Depeche Mode, VNV Nation, Strong Bad (did you catch that one?), Did I say The Doors?, Thou Shalt Not, You Shriek, Third Eye Blind, The Grateful Dead, Beborn Beton, ToolThe Ruffians, Fleetwood Mac, Tool, A Perfect Cirlce, The Bravery System of a Down, Gwar, Wumpscutt, Psychedelic Breakfast, The Funk, Type O Negative, Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins, Echo and the Bunnymen, Danzig, HIM, Moby, Jesse Sterling Harrison, Rage Against the Machine, Seraphim Shock, Modest Mouse, Greenday, The Dead Kennedys, Sublime, Interpol, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Alice in Chains, Hot Hot Heat, They Might Be Giants, Coldplay, Nirvana, Razed in Black, Rasputina, Social Distortion, Pearl Jam, BLIND MELON, Stone Temple Pilots, NIN... ask if you need more :) Oh and did I mention CAKE??????? Best live show EVER.

Foods? All of them! And books? Jeez... I love to read... I just read "Choke" by Chuck Palanuik... I really liked "Good Omens"... "The Screwtape Letters"... "The Green Mile"... "The Way of the Peaceful Warrior..." ...and HITCHHIKERS GUIDE (of course) and HARRY POTTER. Oh--- and "American Gods" and "Neverwhere" (Gaiman and Pratchett) both kicked my ass. I love good books better than sex.

Currently reading a lot of CS Lewis.

Just bought "Douglas Adams Starship Titanic"... which is awesome.

I also just got into the "Post Secret" series. Good to check out at Borders with a friend...

The six things I could never do without

*****((..In No Specific Order..))*****

Books (re-reading "American Gods" right now)

My Daughter

Food (anything you can put Parmesan cheese on... and cake... I like cake... and grapes... and frosting... and steak... steak is really good... and... SUSHI!!!!!)

Music (especially Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and NIN... CAKE... The Cure... )

Emotional Connection It's essential to my happiness.

Friends We all need a support system in this world. I love my close friends as much as I love my family. Hell. They ARE family.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My Dad (or actually... I might trade brains with the Scientist who would be doing the whole "brain switch" operation, that way I would know how to do it myself, and could subsequently do it to whoever I wanted... randomly.. at will. Now that's a super power...)

WAIT A MINUTE.... didn't this question used to be "Who would I most like to trade brains with?" ??? Um.... ok then...

I spend a lot of time thinking about everything. Like here's an example...

Do you ever wonder what it would be like if eel's had legs? I mean... they would eat everyone... and there would probably be some silly "eel's are people too" laws passed... so the eels would just be allowed to eat people... and no one could do anything about it.... OR what would happen if zombies attacked? I mean... would they be fast like in "Dawn of the Dead"? or would they be slow and easily stopped? And what's the deal with Easter? A friend of mine called it "zombie Jesus Day" and that really got me thinking.......

Why I fall for guys who are emotionally unavailable.

On a typical Friday night I am

Doing something fun with my daughter!!!!

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I watched "Double Migetation"... that's pretty embarrassing... :)

...and I make up statistics.

A lot.

Like 90% of the time, even.

You should message me if

I'm not going to be limiting here.

...except for " bu-kake ".

**wink**
