My self-summary
pls ignore the username it was a bad decision I was thinking abt how everyone loves muppets
What I’m doing with my life
Learning how to self identify as a babe. Being earnest. Learning how to have a body. Figuring out how to be queer without feeling like a stereotype.

More practically: I'm a freelance journalist, which means I get to write about whatever I feel like. Usually I end up writing about contemporary art or poetry or tv or sex: just different ways of understanding desire, which is important to me.

to leaven the seriousness: my tumblr- steamingpileofpoo (NSFW)
I’m really good at
Marathon TV watching
Real talk
Loooong walks through the city at all hours
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
passionate abt literary theory, affect theory, poetry. my two favorite novels are A Wrinkle In Time and The Great Gatsby. I like stories about falling in love and stories about heartbreak

sensibilities of a 12yo + "dark cerebral dramas."

I listen to a little bit of everything. I like the people in the DIY punk/hardcore scene but if we're going on music alone, and not culture, my favorite musician of all time is Joni Mitchell. I think she's just amazing. I am also a big fan of contemporary stuff like Thee Oh Sees, angry girl music like The Raincoats and Screaming Females, old school hip hop like Scarface, "world music" a la Sublime Frequencies, coffee shop compatible music like Yo La Tengo and Slowdive, and most dance-y pop music. I'm trying to get more into country and gospel music these days so if you have suggestions, hmu.

I like all the same TV shows everyone else does. Mad Men and The Sopranos are part of the furniture of my mind, though. I also blog about TV and run a tumblr that keeps tabs on art as fabricated for TV shows. Ask me about it and I'll send you a link.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
these days? poetry, net art, affect theory, feminism, posthumanism, hip hop, bad puns, sloppy photoshop jobs, fake food, bathos.
On a typical Friday night I am
I work from home so ~fridays!!!!!~ is not rly a thing in my world. If I were a guy I would probably pee in jars, that's what yr dealing with here.

Jar-pee aside, I used to go out dancing all the time and cld prbly be persuaded to do so again.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like getting pimples in that area between my lip and the side of my nose because when it pops/dries it looks like a beauty mark.
