My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Born in Vancouver, Canada, raised in Los Angeles, on the move across the planet, so, by citizenship, I'm Canadian, by upbringing, I'm Chicano/Mexifornian, by blood, I'm the most mixed-and-blended-in human you'll ever meet, and by culture, I learn from the world as I go. Linguist, writer, musician, teacher, perpetual Occupy the Open Road activist.

While I was living in Los Angeles, I studied Linguistics, Music Composition and Massage; in Vancouver, I studied Audio Engineering and English Teaching (TESOL/TEFL).

I have precisely, exactly two (2) expectations of all Homo Sapien Sapiens everywhere, and so, yes, I expect you to live up to these two things. They are:
1) Have your words and your actions in alignment with each other, and
2) Barring that, if this is not possible, provide an explanation as to why.
Anything other than these two things, so long as you're not hurting anybody and you're behaving in a safe, agreed-upon, consensual manner between consenting and responsible adults, I encourage you to live life however makes you happy.

At the current time, I'm anchor-dropped in Albania. I intend to find work teaching English in Yerevan.

I'm a massive nerd, particularly when it comes to anything relating to Linguistics, and may geek out at any time.

I have Asperger's Syndrome, just so you're aware. Interpret however you wish to your heart's desire.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Linguistics, teaching, travel and Heavy Metal are my life. This is what I live for.

These days, for the next several years, I'll be assembling raw materials to write an Honourary Doctorate in Linguistics, and writing two series of novels.

I've developed a completely revolutionary new method of teaching the grammar of any language to anybody, regardless of the student's original language. So far, I've used it to teach English grammar to students from all around the world with a success rate of around 90 - 99%, and so over the next several years, I'll be learning other languages and applying the method to them to make them learnable to anybody who wants (my goal is 30). I'll be learning the languages in pairs and triplets. The order I'm going in is:

1 - English, Russian
2 - Swedish, Spanish, Persian
3 - Finnish, Mandarin, Japanese

After that, I'll be working on:
4 - Turkish, Portuguese, Romanian
5 - German, Italian
6 - Hindi, Swahili
7 - French, Indonesian (includes Malay; pairs with Javanese)

If in the monolithically mystical, magical event that I'm somehow miraculously able to finish all of these languages, I would eventually like to get around to sequentially deconstructing:
8 - Greek, Latin, Polish
9 - Romanian, Hungarian, Serbian (includes Croatian & Bosnian)
10 - Korean, Nahuatl, Quechua
11 - Mongolian, Tuvan
12 - Amharic, Zulu
13 - Punjabi, Warlipiri

Out of all the study materials and learning resources that are currently available for learning most languages, I'd say probably 90% of them are absolute shit, so, I'm collecting together the raw materials and converting them into good materials, using the methods that's gotten a 90-99% success rate with my students in English. I really, really, truly believe that everybody everywhere has the full and natural right to be able to learn languages if they want to, and my methods have turned out to be the most successful, so, I'm going to be learning (a goal of; I don't know if I'll reach all of them) 30 languages, and deconstructing them using my methods. These days, I'm working on English, Russian, Finnish, Swedish and Spanish.

I've actually developed a perfectly phonetic (one sound = one letter) Persian-to-English Romanized alphabet which I'll be using to create my language learning resources for Persian as I learn and develop them, and every sound is accounted for. You can download it completely for free either here or here.

When you type:
"w" -----> æ
and
When you type:
[Alt+Ctrl] /or/ [Alt Gr] + "g" -----> ğ
[Alt+Ctrl] /or/ [Alt Gr] + "s" -----> š
[Alt+Ctrl] /or/ [Alt Gr] + "z" -----> ž
Everything else is exactly like the "English (US)" Layout. You have to extract it to:
> c:users \ username \ documents \ pers(tr)
Then double-click "Setup", and it will install on its own. It's completely free, open, and available to the public. Spread far, spread wide.

If you can help me with any of these 30 languages (particularly Persian, as I'll need lots of help), let's definitely get in contact.

I'm also gradually planning and writing two series of sci-fi novels: one series of 8 books, and the other series of 27. I also do travel writing and I teach English.

Generally, writing books and short story collections along with various articles and my travel journalism, collaborating with interesting, skilled musicians and sharing a little bit of life with good people I meet along the way.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that I'm from another planet, in another dimension. [hand-wave]

Food is one of a handful of truly global languages, and cooking is one of my favourite art forms. Some people are carnivores, some are herbivores, some are omnivores, I like to think of myself as an "omnomnomivore".

I sold my television in 2001, and at that time, I hadn't turned it on in over 5 years

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Linguistics, geometry, the principles and patterns of math, human religions, the inherent structure of life.

I'm also reasonably sure that William Shakespeare was an atheist.
