Working with cancer patients over a number of years has made me care deeply about living well, taking chances on opportunities, exploring the world and surrounding myself with positive people.

I'm an introvert/extrovert mix. I'm comfortable traveling or eating at a restaurant alone. But I also love meeting new people, having deep conversations and learning from them.

For now, I'm in pharma industry. As far as office jobs go, I like it a lot. Free coffee, bagels on Wednesdays and occasional travel abroad. Not bad at all.

Beyond that I've been learning the guitar and harmonica, Spanish and Japanese. I just like learning in general. I do some real estate on the side for fun, working on getting my license. I like thinking about unusual designs for houses and backyards. I work out regularly,do Tough Mudders, whitewater rafting and I'm interested in other activities that involve signing injury/death waivers.

The long game involves owning and operating a small neighborhood pub. It's my ideal retirement.

I like reading about religion, history, science fiction and interesting people. Mostly watch HGTV, HBO and Showtime. I keep my radio on classic rock or hip hop/rnb and funk, but there's something in every category I like. Even country.

Mostly trying to eat healthier now, but I can never completely say goodbye to bacon and steak. It's nice that there are plenty of quality local wine, beer and foods available around Boston that aren't super expensive.

Stuffing my face, probably.
