I recently moved to Herndon and am adjusting to life up here. I work in Sterling and volunteer in Dale City. My life is far from where it was a year ago, new job, new house But all changes for the better. I am adjusting to all this change and am looking for new friends in the area.
In my free time I try to play as much hockey as I can, go to the range, movies and concerts. And the firehouse if I am needed.
I tend to be someone who when you get to know me it feels like we have known each other for years not weeks. I am still trying to figure out if that is good or bad, along with being "nice, and cute"
I love Hockey it killed me living in Hawaii not being able to go to any games. I love Ice skating. Also (there is always next year) LET'S GO CAPS!
From a softer world
"The problem with a lot of the people I've met who are "romantic" is that they don't really treat the object of their affection as a real person. More like a prop in the romantic fantasy! This is all fine and good as long as things go fine. But if not, well! That's when the anger comes out, and you can see little traces of the cognitive dissonance going on behind the scenes! But I love you, you stupid fucking whore!"
Moved back to VA to take care of my Grandfather who has sadly moved on.
I am outgoing, Sarcastic, and Caring.
If you made it this far I will share something a friend wrote for
me
"I mean really… this guy works a normal 40 hour a week job and then is a volunteer firefighter on top of that, just because THAT is his passion. I think one of our recent conversations in which he told me he had a busy hectic weekend and I said “work or fun” and his reply was “work and then duty…so I guess both ” sums that up pretty well. It’s not often that you find people who are passionate about anything, let alone serving others. So, yeah, I think the this guy is pretty awesome and I hope he gets that and doesn’t settle for less than he deserves." :)
