My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Best viewed on desktop or laptop. I've found it doesn't show (most of) my links or formatting or other photo albums on the Android app.

My self-summary... hmm... Well, I was born at a very early age....

Tall, with blue eyes, and black hair. I don't smoke. I love music, cars, technology, history, science, and would call myself a geek that doesn't look like one (apart from wearing glasses).

Personality-wise, I guess you could say I'm a little bit country, a little bit rock n roll (...and a little bit techno/industrial, a little bit classical, a little bit jazz.... lol). A geek that loves to laugh, to learn, and to have fun; to rock out, to geek out, and to chill out (in any order or combination).

I love to go out on adventures - Amusement parks, museums, historical sites and live music are among my favorites; far from an exhaustive list though, and I'm always up for something new and different too. Whether staying in or going out, I find it's more about the company than the location or activity.

I'm looking for a great partner in crime. Someone who's fun to talk to, but also nice to spend quiet time with; who's up for wandering drives through the country side, going to concerts, hiking a trail, climbing a mountain, kissing under a waterfall, or just relaxing at home curled up together on the couch.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to level up. haha

Working out and eating better, losing weight and getting in better shape. And learning to cook better along the way.

Also always on a quest to learn things, whether new skills or just new information.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Goofing off, being punny, being serious when I need to be, staying up way too late, sleeping in, ...mixing Rum and Coke. There's a lot more to it than plain 'ol Captain Morgan. ;) Working with technology. I think I'm pretty good at driving in adverse weather (at least if the people around here are any indication. hah). I also like to work on cars.
The first things people usually notice about me

I guess it depends on where/when/how we meet.

Physically it is most likely my size (height and robust frame). After that, I would guess glasses and dark hair (as both are pretty noticeable afterall).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: A very select few of my favorites - Neuromancer, Burning Chrome, Hardwired, Friday (Heinlein), Stranger in a Strange Land, The Door Into Summer, Rendezvous with Rama (and Rama II), The (original) Foundation Trilogy (Asimov)... Robert Heinlein and William Gibson are my favorite authors.

Movies: To list just a few (in NO particular order) - Smokey and the Bandit, History of the World, Hitchhikers' Guide, Snatch, most Marx Brothers movies (yes, they are old, but they are positively hilarious!), Jacki Chan movies, James Bond, Pirates of the Caribbean (series), Sherlock Holmes (series), Iron Man (series), Ghost Rider, Chris Nolan's Batman (a lot of other superhero movies too, come to think of it), Lord of the Rings... I could go on for days trying to think of them all. :)

TV: Top Gear (UK, the original), MythBusters, Doctor Who, South Park, Futurama, Tosh.0, Inside Amy Schumer, Robot Chicken, Naked and Afraid, The Universe, Yard Crashers, Indoors Out, Bar Rescue, Catch A Contractor, Modern Marvels, Fast 'n Loud, Wheeler Dealers, America's Secret Slang
, and lots of assorted History, Science and comedy specials. New addition - Brew Dogs

Music: A bit all over the place here, obscure to well known, and most styles. To name a few in no order - Luke Bryan, Dio, The Rippingtons, Delerium, Front Line Assembly, Conjure 1, Jason Aldean, Iced Earth, Juno Reactor, Epica, ZZ Top, Lindsey Stirling.... Would take ages to list everything. I listen to the radio a lot too, and YouTube and Pandora, surfing for a mix, including dance and pop music. New Addition - Sabaton (after seeing them open for Iced Earth, excellent for workouts, or moshing and headbanging!)

When it comes to food, I like a variety of things - love sushi and sashimi and seafood in general, steak, Chinese, and Italian; also cheese steaks, burgers, etc. as well (which I'm trying to cut back on - but never cut out entirely). Not quite "a little of everything", but I would say a lot of different things.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Friends/Companionship
- My curiosity and sense of adventure
- Nature (visiting the city is nice on occasion, but I crave forests, & [seemingly] untouched natural vistas, whether beaches, mountains, deserts, or what-have-you)
- Music
- My car (and truck)
- Good food and drink
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- My next personal project.

- Why is 'the Miley Cyrus' (tongue out in pics) so popular?

- Why do so many say 'nerd' when they really mean 'geek'?

- As I watch America's Secret Slang, I can't help but wonder why so many people seem so lost on such basic things. What happened?

- Why do townships/the state insist on putting up so many traffic inducing lights? It's like they are actually trying to kill our collective gas mileage (while lengthening everybody's commute as a bonus) [makes one wonder if it's to scoop up more taxes on gas].

- How much it sucks that townships allow mass deforestation to go on followed by overcrowding, just so that they can get more in taxes.

- How important parables from ancient stories are ignored or forgotten today.

- Why does my back lit shadow look more defined than what a mirror shows? Is it working out more than me? Does this bring a new meaning to the term shadow boxing?

- How to replace my pics without standing in front of a mirror. Guys don't really take pics of their friends. But I'm lighter and more defined now than my pics show.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Unwinding from the week and finding something fun to do, whether hanging out with friends or firing up the PS3 and relaxing at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I could, I would move into Restoration Hardware.

I wish I had my own orchestral theme music.

I've always wanted a Viking-style Great Hall (aka Mead Hall). Or the room the Pirate Kings held court in in PoTC 3 would work too.
