My self-summary
Best viewed on desktop or laptop. I found it doesn't show my links or formatting on the Android app.

Mahna Mahna <- because it's good for you (click it!) lol

Most recent fortune cookie - "The universe without music would be madness". Can't disagree. :)

My self-summary... hmm...

I guess you could say I'm a little bit country, a little bit rock n roll (...and a little bit techno/industrial, a little bit classical, a little bit jazz.... lol). A geek that loves to laugh, to learn, and to have fun; to rock out, to geek out, and to chill out (in any order or combination).

I love to go out on adventures. Amusement parks, museums, historical sites and live music are among my favorites, far from an exhaustive list though, and I'm always up for something new and different too. Whether staying in or going out, I find it's more about the company than the location or activity.

I'm looking for a great partner in crime. Someone who's fun to talk to, but also nice to spend quiet time with; who's up for wandering drives through the country side, catching a live show, hiking a trail, climbing a mountain, kissing under a waterfall, or just chilling at home curled up together on the couch.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to level up. haha

Right now I'm eating better and working out, losing weight and working on getting in better shape. 13.4lbs in 9 weeks so far. :) And working on improving my cooking skills with an eye for leftovers.

Always on a quest to learn too, whether new skills or just new information.
I’m really good at
Goofing off, being punny, being serious when I need to be, staying up way too late, sleeping in, ...mixing Rum and Coke. There's a lot more to it than plain 'ol Captain Morgan. ;) I think I make pretty good iced tea too.

Tweaking/customizing my phone/Android. (once had an idea to make it inscrutable and unusable to anybody else haha) And working on computers.

I think I'm pretty good at driving in adverse weather. I also like to work on cars.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my size (height and robust frame), never really asked people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Movies: To list just a few (in NO particular order) - Smokey and the Bandit, History of the World, Hitchhikers' Guide, Snatch, most Marx Brothers movies (yes, they are old, but they are positively hilarious!), most Jacki Chan movies, James Bond, Pirates of the Caribbean (series), Sherlock Holmes (series), Iron Man (series), Ghost Rider, Chris Nolan's Batman (a lot of other superhero movies too, come to think of it), Lord of the Rings... I could go on for ages trying to think of them all. :)

TV: Top Gear (UK, the original), MythBusters, Doctor Who, South Park, Futurama, Tosh.0, Inside Amy Schumer, Robot Chicken, Naked and Afraid, The Universe, Yard Crashers, Indoors Out, Bar Rescue, Modern Marvels, GearzTV, Fast 'n Loud, Wheeler Dealers, and lots of assorted History, Science and comedy specials. New addition - Catch A Contractor

Music: A bit all over the place here, obscure to well known, and most styles. To name a few in no order - Luke Bryan, Dio, The Rippingtons, Delerium, Front Line Assembly, Conjure 1, Jason Aldean, Iced Earth, Juno Reactor, Epica, ZZ Top, Lindsey Stirling.... I could go on for ages. I listen to the radio a lot too, and YouTube and Pandora, surfing for a mix, including dance and pop music. New Addition - Sabaton (after seeing them open for Iced Earth, excellent for workouts, or moshing and headbanging!)

When it comes to food, I like a variety of things - love sushi and sashimi, seafood in general, steak, Chinese, and Italian; some 'junk' like cheese steaks, burgers, etc. as well (which I'm trying to cut back on - but never cut out entirely). Not quite "a little of everything", but I would say a lot of different things.
The six things I could never do without
I don't think there's really anything that I could _NEVER_ do without. My survival instinct is too strong, I would adapt and forge onward. However, In the spirit of the question, there are things that I would never want to do without:
- Friends/Companionship
- My curiosity and sense of adventure
- Nature (visiting the city is nice on occasion, but I crave forests, and [seemingly] untouched natural vistas, whether beaches, mountains, deserts, or what-have-you)
- Music
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Fixing the clutch on my car. Especially now that it seems we've seen the last of the salt until the end of the year.

And to a lesser extent, building a rat rod. Or a big truck for bad weather.

Very recently:
- Why is 'the Miley Cyrus' (tongue out in pics) so popular?
- What is with the obsession of tech companies with working on "digital assistants" that you speak to and which talk back? Using an app and/or typing is far more straight forward, and private, and every bit as quick. Seems to be just a toy, something to try to sell devices/OSs with.
- Why does that female Cardinal keep trying to peck/jump through the window of my porch (even when I'm inside).
On a typical Friday night I am
Unwinding from the week and finding something fun to do, whether hanging out with friends or firing up the PS3 and relaxing at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I enjoy the tests here. The outcomes are sometimes a good laugh, other times cool or fun.

I don't have facebook, google+, myspace, twitter, foursquare, or anything else like it - by choice.
