well this is hard to put in a nutshell. I like eccentric people. I go way out of my way for them and make them my friends. They are like the random thread of color in a Navaho rug that lets the spirit out. I cant say that Im all that eccentric but maybe im nourished by the spirit they release just by being around them. Im a musician. I play guitar, mandolin, piano and celtic harp to name a few. I used to play in an irish band and relish world music. Some of my songs have been played on the radio. when I travel I like to collect instruments from the countries Ive visited. Ive been to Europe, Mexico, Belize, guatemala, chile, Peru and Argentina. I just got back from costa rica a few weeks ago.

I also love to watercolor and have had my work displayed at an art gallery. I try to paint wherever I travel to slow things down and notice the details around me. Im taking a life drawing class right now with nude models. The human form is so outragiously hard to put on paper! but i really want to be able to do that. I recently took a rock carving class and the result is up above. gotta find time to do more.

I have two outragiously fun and intelligent kids that I love to be around.

I am a teacher and have my masters in creative arts and learning. That means Ive been trained to insert art into all areas of the curriculum. I love my job seeing kids fully engaged in an art project. Summers are off and I love to travel. Lately limited by what is the cheap travel alternative but i did make it to costa Rica this year and snorkled in the carribean and the pacific, saw nesting sea turtles at 1 on the morning under a three quarter moon, stood on an erupting volcano, jammed with the rastafarians, and soaked in terraced hot springs in a jungle with giant blue florescent butterflies flitting through. and I did this with my kids. 11 and 13.

I love to read nonfiction about meditation, buddhism, sexuality, visualization, teaching kids, and studying art techniques.

Love to watch movies but never seem to have the time. Love to kick back with a friend and watch a great movie though. I like dramas and action but hate violent flicks.

I love acoustic and world music with odd instruments. Also love the classic folk singers and harmonizers. Love to try all kinds of food from all over the world. I am predudice towards insects and animal brains. love sushi, seafood, vegetarian, Asian foods, curry, some hot stuff but not extreme, love to grill.
