You probably know someone just like me. There is a whole group of women that are short, sarcastic, cute, geeky, and reasonably intelligent. Most of us are named Elizabeth. Don't ask me why. But I am a member of this hallowed sisterhood, and I am proud of it.

I'm currently working as a supervisor at a private school. It's not where I thought I would be at this age. I'd always thought I'd be an archivist by now, or on my third published novel, but c'est la vie.

When I'm not working, I'm typically on the computer playing games (Guild Wars 2 has my rapt attention), writing, researching one thing or another, or watching a show. Occasionally I'll spend my time on an art project (painting, russian nesting dolls, jewelry... depends on the mood) or reading.

Yodeling. No, not really. I win at sarcasm, or so I am told. I also am quite proficient at arguing.

Oh, I don't know. I have people tell me I come off as somewhat standoffish at first, so... my expression? My stoic silence? The neon "fuck off" sign on my forehead that is my blank face? My short stature? My glasses? You tell me.

I've been known to kill them on GW2 or, on rare occasions, go to a bar and have a bit of fun. Usually I am at home, however.

I'm not putting my private life out there for the whole internet to access. If you're curious, I'll chat, but I tend to keep my business to myself.

If you're remotely interested, it's always worth a little back and forth to see whether or not your initial instincts were right.

But please, if you want to make a good impression on me, spell everything out. "U" and "R" are letters, not words. Punctuation is mandatory, not discretionary. Typos happen, but pretty much every browser has a spell check function. I am literate and I cannot take a man seriously if he types like that. It's a major pet peeve of mine.
