The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I used to live in an apartment building that had snails living outside. Snails like you wouldn't believe. They liked to hover around this big tree that dropped berries at night. There were so many snails that I'd have to tip toe across the sidewalk in order to get into my building without crushing one.

In the morning, I'd come out and see tiny little bite marks in the berries, and I knew the snails all had the time of their lives, sharing berries with one another, and dancing and singing beneath the stars.

You're enamored by the idea that our bodies are chemical cocktails comprised of the same molecules that cause stars to explode, so it isn't a wonder to you that our passion for life and everything around us could be any less volatile, and all the more beautiful. Or something.
