My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Basically, I love travel and adventure and meeting new people. I don't like to plan when I travel. My best stories are from getting lost.

I might have a rough exterior when you first meet me, but I'm very loving and caring once you get through it. I tend to like non-traditional people - crazy, weird, and quirky. People who have ideas that amuse and fascinate me.

Last summer, I drove cross country and back with my pit-bull, Melvin. It was quite an epic journey. The trip reminded me how good it feels to be out in nature. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm really a city person. Now that the winter is over, I want to do lots of hiking and camping

I love the Moth and This American Life and I want to make my own shows like that, but I get overwhelmed about where to start. I like talking to old people and hearing about how things used to be. I would time travel if I could.

I was raised Jewish and feel a connection to others who were also. But I am not religious or practicing.

I also enjoy food. Food is good.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am managing a museum education program that is exclusively working with Philly public schools. It's fun!

I'm being a great dog mom.

I'm getting obsessed with projects in my house and garden. I want to replace all the ugly home depot doors in my house with salvaged doors, but sizing has proven to be a challenge. I haven't given up, though!

I'm making quilts (inspired by Gees Bend)

I often go antiquing on Sunday mornings.

Otherwise... good question - what AM I doing with my life??

How to turn junk into something cool.

Picture frames - I find cool ones at flea markets and thrift stores and I cut them down and reframe random stuff.

I also think a lot about education and how to set kids up for success in life. And community development.

I also think about guinea pigs because they are cute and squirrels because they are agile....and cute. Basically, I like rodents.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having dinner/drinks with friends or working obsessively on my latest project.
