I'm a mix of strange contradictions. I'll probably come across as quiet and humble, but I've actually got a huge ego. I'm just good at keeping it under control in public. You will probably find it surprising when you realize this, and then find it funny whenever you realize I'm trying to hide it.
I like to keep the attention off me when I'm in a group. I'll be the quiet one who doesn't say much, and when I do make a comment it'll be a one-liner. My sense of humor is dry, biting, and cynical. I'll keep a completely straight face, which will confuse anyone who doesn't know me. Anyone who does will know I'm being funny.
I'm the stereotypical "good guy." I was an altar boy from a young age until I went to college. I don't drink or smoke or do drugs. I don't swear. This means you will be surprised when we play Cards Against Humanity and I consistently shock the entire table, and probably doubly surprised at how hard I'm laughing.
I'm a nerd. I'll get excited about comic books, science fiction movies, and games in your presence. You will almost undoubtedly find this one part embarrassing and one part hilarious. I'm also fascinated in a less embarrassing way by history (particularly the Crusades, the American Revolution, and lately the Sumerians) and religion. I'm not particularly religious myself, but I find religions incredibly interesting.
I'm pretty content, on the whole. I'm generally the emotionally stable person among my friends. I've been described as "stoic," but that really just means I don't get particularly excited or upset. I like to think that's a good thing.
