I'm genuine, down to earth, honest, intelligent and sentimental. I
believe that life is better when spent with another. I value
family, work, good ethics and honesty. Communication and trust are
most important in a relationship. I'm not high maintenance when it
comes to material things, but I am when it comes to thoughtfulness
and being with someone. I have been independent but want to be able
to depend on my partner for some things.
The past few years have been trying. The girls left the nest one by one, got married, one moved out of state and had a baby. All of a sudden, the "rest of my life" is here. I'm looking for someone to share it with.
I would want the date to take me....I'm old-fashioned! It would be great to visit a new place together. Then maybe it will be "our" place.
I'm looking for someone that has a big heart, has a great sense of humor, knows how to treat a lady, someone who will only have eyes for me, someone thoughtful. I like a person who sets goals and is a go-getter. Someone who knows what he wants and then goes after it. And someone who wants a partner, a teammate to walk beside him.
Are you tired of reading the same stuff here...everybody is fun, everyone wants adventure, we all like candles and wine (chocolate wine, that is!). What about this: I have a full time job and I'm over 50. Sometimes I have a rough day and just want to sit and talk and veg in front of the tv. And I want someone to do that with me. We're not on a dating show...this is real life. We don't have someone else to do the laundry, do housework, go grocery shopping. I'm real and am not just looking to go out and have dinner....I'm looking for the person to open a new chapter in the book of life with me...and write a happy ending.
