Hello- Im doing this for real for the first time. Im new to Chambana, and really just want to meet people. Im a science dork, love to read, love good music (especially live) and dancing, and im a fantastic cook! Im looking for good conversation above all (if youre not intellectual in some way dont bother) and i like to be around people with drive and focus.

Just graduated from MSU with 2 bio degrees. I want to go into medicine, and im pursuing that route, but im currently taking a break from academia and bar tending for a bit

Movies-
Stanger than Fiction, Chicago (or any good musical) anything based on Shakespeare or Jane Austin, most good Sci-fi or historical dramas.... i donno- theres a lot of entertaining movies out there
Shows-
Downton Abby, Star Trek, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, parcs and rec, and 30 rock
Music-
I like all genres as long as its well done. Most of whats on the radio (overproduced formula music) grates on my nerves, and i guess in the end the genre ive never liked one song from is pop country. My favorite bands right now are First aid Kit, Fleet Foxes, The Decemberists, The Avett Brothers, My Morning Jacket, The Black Keys and Andrew Bird.
Food-
um- i love to eat almost everything. The spicier the better. I make mean vegan, vegetarian and carnivorous dishes, and love them all.

People to talk to, good food to cook and eat, and wine and beer to enjoy with both of these things. Also books and music and art to enjoy, and digest, and talk about.

Huh... this is a weird question. I bite my nails a lot. and i mean a lot.

You aren't necessarily looking for something serious, but are open to possibilities. I really am mostly just looking for new friends, and good company cause i'm new in town.

Also- dont bother messaging me if youre just going to say "hey there" or whatever. tell me something about yourself, or start up an actual convo. i probably wont respond to lame messages, and i definitely wont respond to overt sexual advances either. im not interested in banging a stranger.
