My Self-Summary

I am interested in the world around me, observing it and trying to figure out what makes it tick all the time. Unfortunately, I spend way to much time trying to figure out life instead of actually living it, something I noticed some time ago and have been working on changing, after all, life is just the biggest game out there, might as well enjoy it to it's fullest.

Ik ben geïnteresseerd in de wereld rondom mij, ik observeer het en probeer te ontdekken hoe hij ineen zit. Spijtig genoeg besteed ik veel teveel tijd aan het uitzoeken wat leven is, in plaats van zelf te leven, iets dat ik enige tijd geleden ontdekte en sindsdien ben ik aan het proberen om dat te veranderen. Het leven is toch een spel, we kunnen er best plezier aan hebben.

What I’m doing with my life

I've spend the last few years getting my ducks in order, so now that I've got my own roof and a steady income, I'm starting to be a bit more selfish and look at what (or who) I want to be and making moves to get there, be it learning a new trade or just enjoying a new sport, I've done the work, now it's time for the play.

learning new things, solving logical problems, creative thinking, ...

That I'm way to silent... which is usually mistaken for me being shy.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Any good science-fiction or adventure, be them from Asimov or the Dune series for books, Aliens, Stargate or the matrix for movies.
As for music, I seem to be an unusual case as I don't really have any taste in music, don't have a single song stored, not a single cd bought... but if the tune is good, I'll happily hum along.
And finally food, my nemesis, I like to cook, I like to bake, but there is way to little I like to eat... I guess my favorite would be my own made cake, be it chocolate or plain.

The six things I could never do without

A mind, a body, a heart and a conscience. Once I've got those, combined with some optimism and good luck the rest will fall into place and everything will be alright.

Who I want to be if I ever grow up.

At home, siting behind a computer, trying to figure out what to do for the weekend.

I have no idea where I'm heading in life, and finding goals to aim for has become my biggest goal in life on it's own.
