Hey there, my name is Dan. I'm a big sports fan. My favorite teams are the Angels, Lakers and Tampa Bay Bucs.

I enjoy beer. My favorites are almost all IPA's. I love a good beer pong game, but I don't play very often now that my college days are over and finding people that are interested in playing is getting more difficult.

Anything relating to economics interests me. Given that the whole planet pretty much revolves around the economy, I feel it's relevant enough to be interested in.

I just moved to Rancho Cucamonga after getting my new job, so I'm trying to meet some people in the area.

I work for a non-profit as an organ donation development coordinator. Basically, I am a liaison between multiple hospitals and my company to ensure that we are doing our best to help save the lives of people who need organ donations. It's a very rewarding job.

I'm also training for my first half marathon. It's going to be a lot of work, but I know that it will be worth it when it's all over. I plan on running a full marathon sometime next year.

striking up conversations with strangers. I have no problem talking to strangers about random things. You never know who you could meet if you just make the effort to say hello.

I'm also really good at quoting various movies. I don't know if this is particularly useful for anything, but I enjoy it.

Probably my rugged good looks (joking). I get told I look like Matthew Broderick a lot but I don't see it.

Personality wise, they'd probably notice that I am always trying to crack jokes. Some are good, some are not so good, but I always best to give it a shot.

I really like the Dexter series that the show was based on. It's a lot different than the show because it focuses a lot more on Dexter than any other character but all of the books are definitely entertaining. I also really enjoyed Freakonomics; it's interesting how so many aspects of our lives are part of the economic models we learn about in school if we really take the time to think about it.

My favorite movie of all time is Goodfellas. I have watched it too many times to count, and have written multiple papers on it in college. The characters are so dynamic and it shows so much about greed and how it can lead to your downfall. Some other favorites in no particular order are The Big Lebowski, American History X, The Karate Kid (nostalgia factor is off the charts), Braveheart, Forrest Gump, Stand By Me, Happy Gilmore, The Sandlot, Wayne's World, Green Street Hooligans, Night At the Roxbury, Superbad and Super Troopers

Some of my favorite shows are Workaholics, Dexter, True Blood, Californication, Mad Men, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League, Friday Night Lights, Entourage, Big Love, Pardon the Interruption, Boardwalk Empire, Shameless and Breaking Bad.

My favorite bands include the Expendables, Rebelution, Drake, Childish Gambino, Kanye West, Eli Young Band, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Carrie Underwood, Chris Young, Justin Moore, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley,Band Perry, Fall Out Boy, Pepper, Jack's Mannequin, Something Corporate and Jack Johnson and far too many others for me to list.

I am a big fan of Italian food, but I am open to pretty much anything other than sushi.

1. Spotify. It is so great to be able to type in any song or artist and be able to listen to that song in seconds. Well worth the ten bucks a month.

2. DVR. I love watching certain shows but they always happen to be on when I am busy. Plus you don't have to watch commercials like a sucker.

3. Laptop/iPad. Desktops were so 2000

4. Contact lenses. Pretty self explanatory.

5. Sports. There is nothing better than a Sunday filled with football, a day game at the ball park, or watching Kobe do work.

6. Working out. It's a really great way to let off some steam while improving yourself.

My future. There are so many things I want to accomplish and I am always thinking of new things I want to try.

How people who work at Disneyland are always so happy (or at least do a very good job pretending). I know that my job is often a lot easier than theirs, and there is no way I could stay smiling 100% of the time.

Why some people spend more money on rims or stereo equipment for their cars than the actual car itself. I love having a nice stereo too, but it still seems ridiculous to me.

Why so many people hate country music. I know it's the trendy thing to do, but the genre is so big that I find it really hard to believe that someone could hate all of it.

It really depends on how my work week went. Sometimes I just want to relax and go all out on Saturday. Sometimes I need to go out and shoot some pool with friends and have a drink or two. Sometimes there's a new movie that came out that I want to see. And if it's baseball season, I very well might be at the Big A watching the Angels. There really is no typical Friday for me.

I like to rap battle when I've had a few. It's a lot better than fighting people and it keeps my vocabulary up to snuff.
