My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi there, thanks for stopping by. This is me. Critically I would describe myself as a frenetic goofball but I would more gently describe myself as a kind and caring soul a little at odds with the world. I am a puppeteer, actor and teaching artist by trade and passion. I split my time performing, building, teaching and working in the Market.

My artistic pursuits take up a lot of my time and other hobbies have fallen by the wayside. I hope to revisit them because they were things like hiking, kayaking, road trips, dinner parties, board games, movies, theater, art, music and the other cool unique events that exist out there.

I orbit the various sphere’s of the current nerdverse. I am more aware of all of it than maniacally into any one thing. My venn diagram crosses over most of the stereotypical genre’s and memes.

I am more comfortable around women than men and have many more female friends than male.

I cook, I am nice, I am a little awkward but sincere. People tend to like me, I am not sure exactly why, but they do and I really appreciate it.

Also my 'd' key doesn't always deploy when pressed. I often produce an indefinite article instead of a conjunction.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have just moved across the country from Seattle and pursuing a Masters in Puppetry Arts at UConn.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am really good at what I do. I am a good puppeteer and performer in general. I am a good teacher (perviously read "I am good teacher", which is pretty funny and thus included) and a good cook. I am not a great designer but I am going to be. I am very good at being genuinely interested in other people. There are other things I am good at, or so people say, but I have a hard time identifying them on my own.
The first things people usually notice about me

You wouldn't know it from my main picture, but probably my hair. I don't cut it enough so it is a little crazy.

Also, I haven't met a lot of new people recently but whenever I have, those new people often think I am gay. None of my friends who thought that at the time could explain why later. It is a mystery.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee
My family
My computer devices (really the phone)
My brain (as wacky as it is)
My hands, I sure use them a lot. I'd hate not having them.
Art
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where I need to be next and what i need to get done. I think about mythology (currently a lot about Cassandra), science, puppet shows and how to put them all together.

I also think a lot about the universe that exists outside the limitations of our senses.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Performer, working on a performance or recovering from the past week and worrying about the next week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I cry, it is a new thing and I really like it. I tried being a rock and that just made me angry. Now I am "a delicate flower" and... it is really nice to be able to feel emotions again.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you read the above, look at the pictures and think, "I wonder what that guy is like?". I mean, sure, I just described this website...

If you like to laugh, explore and don't mind getting lost. If you enjoy the company of someone who is smart, occasionally witty and often silly. If you like to have your ear talked off but know the phrase, "stop talking" will be politely and graciously obeyed. If you like humble creative types who come at things at odd angles. Those would be some reasons to message me.

Thanks for reading all the way to the bottom! You get a gold coin. Clap your hands above your head and it is yours!
