If you were in a serious relationship, would you mind if your significant other maintained an active profile on OkCupid?

  • Yes - I would mind this.
  • No - This would not bother me.
Sites such as these are great ways to make friends. But if I was in a significant relationship, I don't think I would keep up with my account much.

How willing would you be to try out new things sexually with a partner?

  • Completely willing.
  • Somewhat willing.
  • Not at all willing.
Within the context of a monogamous relationship, I feel it is important to create a safe space. For me I don't think I'd prefer to have a three way or to go outside of the relationship. Otherwise, I'm open.

Do you think women have an obligation to keep their legs shaved?

  • Yes
  • No
While I totally love the feel of silky smooth legs against my body: I think it's stupid to go ape-crazy if your woman had some stubble. A woman needs days to just let go and just be. We all do.

If you were in a long term relationship and your partner gained weight due to something like surgery recovery or childbirth, would you think less of them as a person?

  • No, my partner's weight is irrelevant to me.
  • No, my partner's health is what is most important.
  • Not if they are willing to work hard and lose it.
  • Yes, weight gain is so unattractive.
Weight gain due to childbirth or surgery is something that is beyond someone's control sometimes. Even if a woman regularly works out during. I think it would be highly insensitive and judgmental to snub your partner if his or her weight changed.

Should evolution and creationism be taught side-by-side in public schools?

  • Yes, students should hear both sides
  • No, creationism has no place in public schools
  • No, evolution has no place in public schools
I think, however, if we are going to teach Creationism, we need to really teach it. The biblical account of Creation is a mix and blend of many creation myths. Even the story in Genesis is edited together of two or more oral traditions. I'd also like to see the symbolism of this Creation Myth taught.

Do you like to be read to aloud?

  • Yes, it makes me happy.
  • Only when I'm sick.
  • Maybe when I was five.
  • Nope.
I also like reading to someone.

How obligated are you to help your fellow human beings?

  • Every man for himself.
  • Live and let live.
  • Charity for those less fortunate.
  • Strive to make the world a better place.
No man is an island.

Does violence ever solve anything?

  • Yes, everything
  • No, violence solves nothing
  • Most of the time
  • Almost never, but sometimes
It would be very Pollyanna to think that if we just think positive that everything will be okay. Even for someone walking a spiritual path this question would prove difficult to answer. But we must distinguish the difference between punitive force and protective force. Force that punishes, or force that protects. Because a large majority of humans opperate from ego and unconsciousness, they are capable of harming us. And so we must prevent that when our attempts of peace is thwarted.

If one of your potential matches was overweight, would that be a dealbreaker?

  • Yes, even if they were slightly overweight.
  • Yes, but only if they were obese.
  • No.
  • No, in fact I prefer overweight people.
Do you ever watch Biggest Loser? Some of these women go in there 3-400 lbs, and when they come out they're hotter than some of the most beautiful super models.
We really need to foster the eyes of Shallow Hal. See the beautiful in everyone. Underneath all that fat is a beautiful divinity waiting to be discovered and loved. Everyone deserves to be loved and wanted.

How would you feel if your partner asked you to get tested for STDs before having sex with you for the first time?

  • Positive (relieved, accepting, happy, or proud).
  • Neutral.
  • Negative (offended, annoyed, angry, or afraid).
If you really love and care for someone, especially yourself, then these types of requests will be honored without conflict. Even if it hurts your ego's feelings.
