i live and work in yosemite national park. but i've been spending much of the winter in the city and probably moving to SF next november. i realize i'm not very close to you, but we're all connected and distance is trivial and an obstacle i'm more than willing to topple for the right person.

if i had to define myself i would say i'm a climber photographer lover traveler inspired motivated adventurer leader helper great friend free spirit freelancer, should i keep going? no? good!

when i don't have a work schedule i'm always on the move doing everything from driving to another climbing spot, videographing a wedding, to landscape designing a backyard, to abalone diving, to photographing a classical concert in Perugia, Italy, to climbing a mountain in New Zealand to... taking my mom out for her birthday. i love to travel, but more than that i love to find amazing places and live there to fully experience them. i've lived in New Zealand, Paris and Italy(twice), the sacramento valley(where i grew up), santa cruz and now yosemite. friends, family and experiences are the most important things to me and i will travel across the world and do anything or give up everything for what is important to me. i feel my way thru life and make choices with my heart.

the spanish filmmaker Luis Buñuel said, "When we are on our deathbed the only things we have in life are our experiences." i read that about 11 years ago and have since been living my life accordingly. with the goal not of accumulating things, but relationships, ideas, connections, loves, sights, sounds, smells, touches and most of all experiences. to take risks and to live in the moment, to laugh, to smile, to create and to find adventure everyday in everyway is my goal. if you ask why i joined this sight i would reply, "to find someone to join me."

what i'm choosing to do now is work at a bar in Yosemite while i'm building my climbing resume, building my landscape and climbing photo/video portfolio, getting as fit and strong in mind, body and spirit as possible and making life long connections with some really awesome people!

oh, and slowing down! it's a beautiful thing to be detached from the 24-Hour newscycle and the weight of the world with its expectations and demands.

what i'm doing in the future: i have access to an apartment and car in the Italian Alps so... in july i'm traveling there for 3 months to explore le montagne and visit friends throughout the italian, austrian, swiss and french alps. You want to come???

i have so many ideas and plans for career/business/spiritual/traveling ventures that you should just ask me about them. Obstacles are falling, ideas are flowing, opportunities are abundant and the universe is opening up like a flower waiting to be pollinated. Life is about to get even more exciting!

working the bar in yosemite. but before this gig i could be anywhere doing anything. the days of the week didn't mean much to me, but likely i would be drinking with friends, climbing, playing pool, camping out, editing photos, listening to live music! driving somewhere new...
