My self-summary
Well lets see... I moved to New York a few months ago and I really love the city but I feel like there's a lot more to it that I want to experience. My life is getting really full between working, training for an ultra-marathon, rock climbing, hanging with my friends and various super nerdy activities (bet you never expected this list to end that way) but I still feel like there is a lot other I wish I could try and find room to try. I guess in the end that's what I really want out of this. I need a partner in crime to share new experiences with and hopefully something long lasting comes out of it.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a interaction designer (I make software easy to use) in the city. It's a really interesting job and the people I work with are great, just wish the commute wasn't quite so long.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall? Oh man, this has lead to some funny ass situations. Let me just state that I'm not really all that all but I think my favorite reaction to this was waiting in line at a food court with my friends. This little tiny girl (she must have been 16 or so) turned around, slowly looks up at me and says with most flat tone I have ever heard "Your really tall" and just turns back around. Me and my friends just burst out laughing at this odd situation and bless this girls heart she just stands her ground, waiting in this line not giving a single fuck that three guys are sitting there laughing there asses off.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Right now I'm reading the "Malazan, book of the fallen" series by Steven Erikson. Before that I went through a classic SciFi fit and read Ender's Game (and Ender's Shadow), Fahrenheit 451, Hitchhiker's Guide, and a few others.

As for the rest I'm really up for trying anything. As long has a show has an interesting story, music evokes feelings, and food tastes interesting I'll give it a try. I guess if you want specifics:

Walking Dead (way behind)
Breaking Bad (farther behind)
Adventure Time
Sonata Arctica
Kamelot
Nirvana
etc...
The six things I could never do without
In no specific order:
The Internet
A park nearby
Running
A job (life gets dull without work)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of time thinking about other peoples point of view. Even if I totally disagree with them I at least try to consider their point of view. The way I figure it the more perspective I can get on things, the better ideas on them will be.
On a typical Friday night I am
Go out to the bar after work with my co-workers, maybe try to exercise, and then hopefully go on an adventure. As of late this means finding myself at a really unique bar (heavy metal bar, tiki themed rum bar, etc).
