I’m back from Switzerland and I’m changing my profile around. Why?

Well, my priorities have changed. In the end I am looking for a long term relationship BUT everyone will have to go through the “friends only” route. Seriously, right now I need friends because I have just suddenly realized that all my friends are married with children so I have nobody to do anything with. But I’ll get to what I’m looking for. :) A little about me:

I am native Floridian who enjoys traveling all over. I love the beach, camping, and hiking. Photography is my first love so work or play, I always have a camera in tow because I love documenting the world around me and sharing them (sometimes) with others.

My friends describe me as kind-hearted, independent, strong, and funny with a unique and weird sense of humor - I can be a silly tard or slaughter you with my witty sarcasm. Solid text book Aquarius, flaws and merits included! I am quirky, a dork and a geek. I sing karaoke and I can kick your butt at laser tag.

I am one of those people that are always willing to lend a helping hand and has lent an ear and a dry shoulder on many occasions. Oh, and my super-girly kryptonite is shoes. :)

I am proud to brag about my 75 lbs of weight gone. I'll be happy to show a before picture! I still have 35 more lbs to go. :) I seem to find myself in Switzerland at least once a year, spending time with my sister and my adorable nephews. After I pay off half of my student loans, I’m going for a 3rd degree.

Photography (sorry, no fluffy kitten pics here), making people fat with my baking, amusing or shocking people with the things that I come up with, giving hugs when you may need it or not, smacking sense into people when they are being dumb and being a wonderful friend.

Hobbies: archery, baking, photography, costuming, tea, reading, writing, painting, singing, shoe shopping, Renaissance Festivals

My friends say that they notice my eyes and my smile.

I am a true omnivore (I seem to gravitate towards sushi and American food). My favorite flavor of ice cream is pistachio and I look forward to the autumn because there's pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin tea....

I enjoy just about all kinds of music (specifically: EBM/Industrial, country, metal, classical music, rockabilly, classic rock and 80s) with my top five albums being; Fumbling Towards Ectasy by Sarah McLachlan, Clumsy by Our Lady Peace, Once by Nightwish, Sehnsucht by Rammstein and the Phantom of the Opera Soundtrack.

I love B movies, high and dark fantasy films, romantic comedies, foreign films (with subtitles!) and I am a MST3K fan.

I am a voracious reader, reading three books at a time. :) Currently, I am reading: A Perilous Power, Williwitt und Fischermann, and my German Workbook. My favorite books are: Dracula, Ozma of Oz, The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, Heart of darkness and Jane Eyre. I really don't have a favorite genre since I don't judge by genre. It's all about the story.

Writing, watching bad movies with friends, grabbing a drink and catching up or on alternate Fridays, I play D&D in a campaign.

Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch! Ich ernstlich brauche jemand üben mein Deutch mit! Ich weiss das mein Deutsch ist schlecht. Das ist warum ich brauche hilfen. Ich kann auch hilfe dir mit Ihr Englisch. :) (I really need a German speaking buddy. I’ve only completed A1 Schritte 1 here in Switzerland but will continue learning it in Florida. I don’t want to loose this language! If you don’t live in Florida, pan-pals are okay.)

I jog so if anyone needs a jogging buddy, drop me a line. Specifically someone who just started to add jogging to their routine (I did 3 months ago), so I do the walk/jog combination. At the most for an hour for 3x – 4x a week. I live close to John Prince Park and Okeeheellee Park.

I don’t mind getting to know people. I just moved back to southeast Florida after being gone for 9 years and like I said, all my friends are married with kids. They make me feel like the 5th wheel sometimes because I’m still single. So it would be great to have people to write, text, call or hang out with. I have a variety of interests.

Please, don’t bother me if you are looking for a booty call, one night stand, or super emo and negative. I ain’t interested. Keep moving!
