My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I really don't feel like I can sum myself up in a little box. It has been difficult to get used to the idea of selling myself. But it is something that one has to do on a regular basis as an artist and freelancer in New York. So now I'm doing this here in hopes of meeting someone captivating and outside of my immediate circle.

I am compelled to do what I do and I don't feel that I really ever had a choice. It chose me.

I have led and continue to lead a life that is challenging but never boring. I am a genuine person and have often been told by former lovers that I am sweet. I have a voracious drive for both mental and physical stimulation and I consider myself to be somewhat of a hedonist. I am straight forward in both friendships and love affairs and I don't play games. I value intelligence, uniqueness, openess, humor and beauty.

I look a bit younger than my age some would say I am well preserved.

Also I do a whole lot of this

I really love classic country music and that comes with the territory being a steel guitarist and all: For example Cliff Carlisle, the Carter Family, Jimmy Rodgers, Bob Wills, Hank Sr, Webb Pierce, George Jones, Ray Price, Jimmy Martin, the Stanley Brothers... Etc.
Also old time stuff and delta blues. More experimental music from noise to contemporary classical music. I'm into all that Sublime Frequencies stuff. Good old rock staples like Neil Young, The Byrds, Gene Clark. I listen to and collect records so I really could go on and on about this.

Film: Herzog, Joderowski, French New Wave stuff, all those early Martin Scorsese flicks, Sam Fuller, again just too much to list

Lately Nick Tosches and Cormack McCarthy.

Food: I'm an omnivore and love new and unique eating experiences as well as good old southern cooking.

Shows: Although sometimes I'm helping make television I don't watch it. It's kind of a dilemma.
